Generational rights and its relationship to sustainable development
...Show More Authors

The environment, in its various aspects, is the center of international concern, as it constitutes a common heritage of all humanity, as it has become a common denominator in relation to various issues and problems of an economic, social and cultural nature, and due to the development of public international law, new concepts have emerged that were not previously noticed as the concept of the rights of future generations, As this concept is closely related to the protection of the environment and reality in the field of environmental law, the idea of the rights of future generations has been explicitly defined, especially in international law that is formed with the idea of a common heritage of humanity that must be preserved and inherited in the best conditions for future generations.

In addition, the concept of the rights of future generations in international environmental law is linked to the concept of sustainable development is a new civilized method that aims to achieve long-term development, as it is based on environmental balance, environmental safety and preserving natural resources in order to achieve the well-being of current generations while ensuring the rights of future generations, It also imposes the promotion of cooperation opportunities, the renunciation of risks, the challenges of conflict, and concern in protecting what is shared between generations, which is of great importance from the perspective of the future, considering that the rights of future generations are an integral part of human rights, and he emphasized the rights of generations a long time ago in the preamble of the Universal Declaration Human Rights in 1948 to recognize the inherent dignity of all members of the human family, which shows that these rights do not extend to a particular generation, but to all present and future generations.

On Integrability of Christou’s Sixth Order Solitary Wave Equations
...Show More Authors

We examine the integrability in terms of Painlevè analysis for several models of higher order nonlinear solitary wave equations which were recently derived by Christou. Our results point out that these equations do not possess Painlevè property and fail the Painlevè test for some special values of the coefficients; and that indicates a non-integrability criteria of the equations by means of the Painlevè integrability.

Evaluation of Certain Physiological Biomarkers in Iraqi Endometrial Carcinoma Patients
...Show More Authors

Background: Endometrial Cancer (EC) is the malignant tumor originating from endometrium cell (lining of the uterus). EC incidence and mortality have increased in recent years. Routinely used methods for EC diagnosis and treatment are histopathological tissue culture after surgery and postoperative radiotherapy, however there is still not enough efficient treatment for recurrence or progression of this disease. So, there is a critical need for further EC identification by new biological ways for the prognostic diagnosis of it. Objective: This study aimed to look for ways by which could help in diagnosis of EC before the hysterectomy. Materials and Methods: 55 patients with EC and 57 healthy women were involved in this study (up to 45 years)

Artificial Neural Network Model for the Prediction of Groundwater Quality
...Show More Authors

The present article delves into the examination of groundwater quality, based on WQI, for drinking purposes in Baghdad City. Further, for carrying out the investigation, the data was collected from the Ministry of Water Resources of Baghdad, which represents water samples drawn from 114 wells in Al-Karkh and Al-Rusafa sides of Baghdad city. With the aim of further determining WQI, four water parameters such as (i) pH, (ii) Chloride (Cl), (iii) Sulfate (SO4), and (iv) Total dissolved solids (TDS), were taken into consideration. According to the computed WQI, the distribution of the groundwater samples, with respect to their quality classes such as excellent, good, poor, very poor and unfit for human drinking purpose, was found to be

mtDNA Haplogroup M5 Associated with Risk of Colorectal Cancer in South India Population
...Show More Authors

The life on earth is driven by energy, supplied by the tiny organelles of the cell called mitochondria and they are usually stated as the powerhouses of the cell.  In population genetics, Mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) is used extensively to categorize individuals or populations.  The mutation sites observed in human mtDNA by comparing with the reference sequence (rCRS) are termed into definite human mtDNA haplogroups. Previous studies showed that mtDNA specific haplogroups and polymorphisms were established to be linked with various human diseases, including cancer in numerous populations. Furthermore, it is also known that several mitochondrial DNA polymorphisms are implicated in enhanced production of Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS
