The efficiency of attapulgite liners as anti-seepage for crude oil is examined. Consideration is given to the potential use of raw attapulgite and mixture attapulgite with prairie hay and coconut husk as liners to prevent crude oil seepage. Attapulgite clay used in this study was brought from Injana formation /Western Desert of Iraq. Two types of Crude oil brought from Iraqi oil fields were used in experiments; heavy crude oil from East-Baghdad oil field and light crude oil from Nassiriya oil field. Initially the basic properties of attapulgite and crude oils were determined. The attapulgite clay was subjected to mineralogical, chemical and scanning electron microscope analyses.  A New developed technique to estimate the necessary six elastic constants of homogeneous laminate of special orthotropic properties are presented in this paper for the first time. The new approach utilizes the elasto-static deflection behavior of composite cantilever beam employing the famous theory of Timoshenko. Three extracted strips of the composite plate are tested for measuring the bending deflection at two locations. Each strip is associated to a preferred principal axis and the deflection is measured in two orthogonal planes of the beam domain. Objectives: The study aims to evaluate patients’ performance toward insulin injection after training program to
identify the variation in skill of patients in insulin injection technique with regard to some variable (i.e.
educational level and duration of insulin injection.
Methodology: A quasi experimental study has been conducted on diabetic patients.
An observational checklist had been prepared which consisted of 4 main areas with 37 sub-items, which are
syringe preparation for injection, insulin drawing; skin preparation for injection and insulin injection. Each of the
sub-items has 2 options yes or no. One score for positive answer and zero for no.
The sample of the study consisted of (n =30) males and females
