A Comparative Study of Various Intelligent Algorithms based Path Planning for Mobile Robots

In general, path-planning problem is one of most important task in the field of robotics. This paper describes the path-planning problem of mobile robot based on various metaheuristic algorithms. The suitable collision free path of a robot must satisfies certain optimization criteria such as feasibility, minimum path length, safety and smoothness and so on. In this research, various three approaches namely, PSO, Firefly and proposed hybrid FFCPSO are applied in static, known environment to solve the global path-planning problem in three cases. The first case used single mobile robot, the second case used three independent mobile robots and the third case applied three follow up mobile robot.  Simulation results, which carried out using MATLAB 2014 environment, show the validity of the kinematic model for Nonholonomic mobile robot and demonstration that the proposed algorithm perform better than original PSO and FF algorithms under the same environmental constraints by providing the smoothness velocity and shortest path for each mobile robot.

Study a bout the Epidemiology of Vulvo Vaginal Candidiasis (Candida spp.) in Baghdad City

This Study was conducted to investigate vaginitis in women who live in Baghdad City. Results Revealed that Candida spp. were the causal agent of 38.5% of symptomatic cases the yeasts Candidaalbicans, C.glabrata, C.tropicalis, C.parapsilosis and C.krusei were isolated with the percentage of 38.1, 9.1, 3.9, 2.6, 1.3 respectively also there were 18% of women in control group carrying Candida spp. The direct smear method were not efficient because the percentage of infection was 17.5% comparing with the culture method the sensitivity of direct smear method was 45.5% The percentage of WBC to Epithelial cells was less than one in 76.6% of women.

Abstract<p>The sensitivity of SnO<sub>2</sub> nanoparticles/reduced graphene oxide hybrid to NO<sub>2</sub> gas is discussed in the present work using density functional theory (DFT). The SnO<sub>2</sub> nanoparticles shapes are taken as pyramids, as proved by experiments. The reduced graphene oxide (rGO) edges have oxygen or oxygen-containing functional groups. However, the upper and lower surfaces of rGO are clean, as expected from the oxide reduction procedure. A Study of Wear Rate Epoxy Resin filled with SiO2 particle and Glass fibers

This research is devoted to study the effect of different in weight percentage of Sio2 particles and glass fibers (5, 10, 15, 20) wt. % on the wear rate epoxy resin. The results show that the value of hardness increase with the increase for the weight percentage of reinforcing particles and fibers, while the wear rate decrease with the increase the load level of the reinforcing particles and fibers . The largest value of the hardness, and the lowest value of the wear rate for epoxy reinforced with 20% of SiO2, the wear rate increase in general with increasing the applied load.

Evaluating the Moisture Content Variation on Critical Strain of Geo-materials: A Case Study

Some methods have been proposed for stability evaluation, but the hazard warning levels (HWLs) are more applicable among these methods.
