peptide (BNP) level. Twenty patients with hyperthyroidism, 20 patients with
hyperthyroidism treated with (35) mg Carbimazole, 12 patients with
hyperthyroidism associated with heart failure and 20 healthy participants were
included in this study. Serum Triiodothyronine (T3), Thyroxin (T4) and Thyroid
stimulating hormone (TSH) have been used for hyperthyroidism diagnosis test, also

The research aims to find out the impact of cognitive strategies in the mathematical competence of the students of the fourth scientific in the preparatory mahmoudiyah in the Directorate General of The Education of Karkh 2. A post-test of the mathematical competence prepared by (Jassim, 2018) was applied to the sample of (65) students, distributed into two groups of (33) students as experimental group and (32) students as a control group. Length of plasma generated by dc gas discharge under different vacuum pressures was studied experimentally. The cylindrical discharge tube of length 2m was evacuated under vacuum pressure range (0.1-0.5) mbar at constant external working dc voltage 1500V. It was found that the plasma length (L) increased exponentially with increasing of background vacuum air pressure. Empirical equation has been obtained between plasma length and gas pressure by using Logistic model of curve fitting. As vacuum pressure increases the plasma length increases due to collisions, ionizations, and diffusions of electrons and ions.
