Background: Noise injury and hearing loss are significant problems in Nigerian community. The hearing loss sustained from noise injury can have disabled personnel and social consequences for the affected persons and their families. This study was carried out to quantify the noise level of over eighty (80) different sources using the sound level meter (GB: 2266204) at different locations in Akure, capital of Ondo State, Nigeria. Standard procedure specified by the manufacturer was strictly followed and the results were statistically analyzed. A simple, accurate, precise, rapid, economical and a high sensitive spectrophotometric method has been developed for the determination of tadalafil in pharmaceutical preparations and industrial wastewater samples, which shows a maximum absorbance at 204 nm in 1:1 ethanol-water. Beer's law was obeyed in the range of 1-7?g/ mL ,with molar absorptivity and Sandell ? s sensitivity of 0.783x105l/mol.cm and 4.97 ng/cm2respectively, relative standard deviation of the method was less than 1.7%, and accuracy (average recovery %) was 100 ± 0. 13. The advent of UNHCR reports has given rise to the uniqueness of its distinctive way of image representation and using semiotic features. So, there are a lot of researches that have investigated UNHCR reports, but no research has examined images in UNHCR reports of displaced Iraqis from a multimodal discourse perspective.
