Maintenance of hospital buildings and its management are regarded as an important subject which needs attention because hospital buildings are service institutions which are very important to a society, requiring the search for the best procedure to develop maintenance in hospitals. The research is aimed to determine an equation to estimate the annual maintenance cost for public hospital. To achieve this aim, Al-Sader City Hospital maintenance system in Al-Najaf province has been studied with its main elements through survey of data, records and reports relating to maintenance during the years of the study 2008-2014 and to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threat points in the current system through Swat analysis, which represents " analyzing the internal factors represented by strengths and weaknesses points and the external factors represented by opportunities and threats," [41]. On the basis of that, an equation has been obtained to estimate the cost of annual maintenance. To achieve this aim, the following issues should be taken into consideration:
Studying the actual work program of the maintenance department in Al-Sader Hospital,
Identifying the procedures used in maintenance and ways they are implemented,
Studying the maintenance records and reports,
Holding interviews with the manager of maintenance and its staff to integrate the information and
Integrating the analysis of maintenance cost by using statistical analysis system (ASA 2012).
To assess the validity of the model for the annual maintenance cost, the predicted values of the . equation are plotted against the actual measured (observed) values. Based on the validation data set, the coefficient of determination (R) was found to be equal to (82.5%), therefore it can be concluded that the developed equation showed moderate agreement with the actual measurements. Finally, it can be concluded from the study that, the developed equation should be pplied in hospital to overcome the problems and weak points of the current system and to estimate the annual maintenance cost for hospitals based on the scientific method.
The work in this paper focuses on the experimental confirming of the losses in photonic crystal fibers (PCF) on the transmission of Q-switched Nd:YAG laser. First HC-PCF was evacuated to 0.1 mbar then the microstructure fiber (PCF) was filled with He gas & gas. Second the input power and output power of Q-switched Nd:YAG laser was measured in hollow core photonic bandgap fiber (HCPCF). In this work loss was calculated in the hollow core photonic crystal fiber (HCPCF) filled with air then N2, and He gases respectively. It has bean observed that the minimum loss obtained in case of filling (HC-PCF) with He gas and its equal to 15.070 dB/km at operating wavelength (1040-1090) nm.

Background: Tubal ligation, recognized as a surgical intervention that ensures permanent contraception, has established itself as an option for women seeking a definitive solution for family planning. Objective: To assess the psychosexual implications of tubal ligation in a sample of women in Baghdad, Iraq. Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the association between caries related microorganisms in children’s saliva, such as Streptococcus mutans and lactobacilli, and their demographic factors. Methods: This study involved a sample of 135, both sexes with an age range between 3 and 10 years. Unstimulated saliva was obtained and diluted in normal saline. Saliva was then placed in selective media. Salivaris agar was used for mutans streptococci while Rogosa agar for lactobacilli. After incubation, Streptococcus mutans counting of CFU (colony forming units) with morphology characterization and numbers of CFU per milliliter of saliva for lactobacilli. The present study reports Morchella conica Pers.1818, which belongs to the family, Morchellaceae as a new record of Iraqi macromycota based on the morphological and molecular methods. During their short and often sporadic fruiting season, this fungal species was found in mixed forest unburned areas in Branan ranges (Suliamaniya Province, Northeast Iraq). The present work was done in an attempt to build systematic procedures for treating warts by 810 nm diode laser regarding dose parameters, application parameters and laser safety.
