Mobile-based human emotion recognition is very challenging subject, most of the approaches suggested and built in this field utilized various contexts that can be derived from the external sensors and the smartphone, but these approaches suffer from different obstacles and challenges. The proposed system integrated human speech signal and heart rate, in one system, to leverage the accuracy of the human emotion recognition. The proposed system is designed to recognize four human emotions; angry, happy, sad and normal. In this system, the smartphone is used to record user speech and send it to a server. The smartwatch, fixed on user wrist, is used to measure user heart rate while the user is speaking and send it, via Bluetooth, to the smartphone which in turn sends it to the server. At the server side, the speech features are extracted from the speech signal to be classified by neural network. To minimize the misclassification of the neural network, the user heart rate measurement is used to direct the extracted speech features to either excited (angry and happy) neural network or to the calm (sad and normal) neural network. In spite of the challenges associated with the system, the system achieved 96.49% for known speakers and 79.05% for unknown speakers
This work presents a novel technique for the detection of oil aging in electrical transformers using a single mode optical fiber sensor based on surface plasmon resonance (SPR). The aging of insulating oil is a critical issue in the maintenance and performance of electrical transformers, as it can lead to reduce insulation properties, increase risk of electrical breakdown, and decrease operational lifespan. Many parameters are calculated in this study in order to examine the efficiency of this sensor like sensitivity (S), signal to noise ratio (SNR), resolution (refractive index unit) and figure of merit (FOM) and the values are for figure of merit is 11.05, the signal to noise ratio is 20.3, the sensitivity is 6.63, and the resolution is 3
... Show MoreThe aim of this research is to construct a cognitive behavior program based on the theory of Meichenbaum in reducing the emotional sensitivity among Intermediate school students. To achieve the aims of the research, two hypotheses were formulated and the experimental design with equal groups was chosen. The population of research and its sample are determined. The test of negative emotional sensitivity, which is constructed by the researcher, was adopted. The test contains (20) items proved validity and reliability as a reliable test by presenting it to a group of arbitrators and experts in education and psychology. An educational program is constructed based on the theory of Meichenbaum. The test was applied to a sample of (60) second i
... Show MoreThis study explored the feasibility of removing nickel (Ni) and Pb (II) from water solutions using the adsorption technique by cellulose recovered from office paper waste. Metal removal is required to reduce the direct or indirect exposure of industrial waste to the environment, due to its potential for harm to human health and ecosystems. The release criterion is maintained to keep the efficient wastewater treatment of the metals of concern, which are toxic to both humans and other organisms. The cellulose was first prepared from office paper waste. The removal values can be rationalized as follows: Lead removal efficiencies of were obtained upto %95.0632, while the removals of nickel were obtained as 54.3866%. The adsorption proce

Objectives: To assess the effect of exercise and physical activity on the immunity against COVID-19. Methods: Collected electronic databases including (Medline, EMBASE, Google Scholar, PubMed and Web of Science) were searched with
