Direct Contact Membrane Distillation for Separation of Hcl From A Mixture of Acids
...Show More Authors

HCl is separated from HCl –H2SO4  solution by membrane distillation process(MD). The flat –sheet membranes made from polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) and polypropylene (pp.). Plate and frame these types of membrane where used in the process. The feed is a mixture of HCl and H2SO4 acids compositions depended on metals treated object.HCl concentration increased in the permeate during the process but sulfuric acid increased gradually in the feed .During the concentration of solution acids concentrations in the feed at the beginning were 50 g/dm3 of sulfuric acid and 50 g/dm3 of hydrochloric acid at 333K feed temperature the permeate flux was 71 dm3/m2.d. At a higher  concentration of HCl  in the feed  111g /dm3  and 61 g/ dm3 of sulfuric acid  at the feed temperature 333K  volume permeate flux was 57 dm3/ m2.d . At a higher concentration of  sulfuric acid  in the feed 161 g/dm3 and 60 g/dm3 of HCl decrease the permeate flux from 71 to 35 dm3/m2.d at 333K . The permeate flux increase from 35 at 333K to 85 at 343 K increase the temperature caused an increase in permeate flux. Increases in sulfuric acid concentration from 50 to 161 g/dm3 decrease the volume permeate flux from 71 to 35 dm3 /m2.d, HCl concentration was achieved a higher value 9.1 g/dm3 during the process at the feed concentration 161g/dm3 of sulfuric acid and 60g/dm3 of hydrochloric acid at feed temperature 343K.

A review on Activated Carbon Prepared from Agricultural Waste using Conventional and Microwave Activation
...Show More Authors

In the recent years the research on the activated carbon preparation from agro-waste and byproducts have been increased due to their potency for agro-waste elimination. This paper presents a literature review on the synthesis of activated carbon from agro-waste using microwave irradiation method for heating. The applicable approach is highlighted, as well as the effects of activation conditions including carbonization temperature, retention period, and impregnation ratio. The review reveals that the agricultural wastes heated using a chemical process and microwave energy can produce activated carbon with a surface area that is significantly higher than that using the conventional heating method.

ELEMENTS OF MARKETING MIX AND THEIR ROLE IN CONSUMER PERCEPTION OF BRAND IMAGE: A SURVEY OF SAMPLE OPINIONS FROM CONSUMERS OF ENIEM BRAND IN THE ALGERIAN MARKET.: ELEMENTS OF MARKETING MIX AND THEIR ROLE IN CONSUMER PERCEPTION OF BRAND IMAGE: A SURVEY OF SAMPLE OPINIONS FROM CONSUMERS OF ENIEM BRAND IN THE ALGERIAN MARKET.

The current research aimed to analyze the importance, correlation and the effect of independent variables represented by marketing variables on the dependent variable represented by local brand, through taking ENIEM as a model for this study, which represents a sensitive sector for the Algerian consumer. The results of the study evinced that the Algerian consumer has a positive image toward the brand ENIEM given marketing variables which has acquired considerable importance to this consumer. Also, the results of this study showed a statistically significant correlation between marketing variables and good perception toward the brand ENIEM, at the same time, the existence of a statistically significant effect for each of these variables o

Post-interactive communication A study to build a model for the flow of communication in social networking sites
...Show More Authors

The issue of the research lies in the non-representation of the models developed for the communication process in the interaction and networking processes through social media, as the research sought to build a network model of communication according to the specific data and features of social media platforms in order to reach a special generalization to understand how the process of networking operates in cyberspace.

The researcher followed the analytical survey approach as she described the communication models outwardly in order to be able to build a networked communication model that represents the flow of post-reactive communication. Therefore, it has been named "Nebula - Sadeem" after the concept of post-space and cosmic g

Evaluation of the Faecal Occult Blood Test as a Screening Tool for Periodontal Disease: A Case–Control Study
...Show More Authors
ABSTRACT
<title>Objectives

To assess the feasibility of using a faecal occult blood test (FOBT) kit as a screening tool for periodontal disease. Additionally, the study aimed to evaluate the test's sensitivity and specificity while exploring the influence of factors like age, sex and the number of teeth on its performance.

Methods

A prospective observational case–control study involving 150 participants divided into three groups on the basis of the basic perio

Implementation of a complex fractional order proportional-integral-derivative controller for a first order plus dead time system
...Show More Authors

This paper presents the implementation of a complex fractional order proportional integral derivative (CPID) and a real fractional order PID (RPID) controllers. The analysis and design of both controllers were carried out in a previous work done by the author, where the design specifications were classified into easy (case 1) and hard (case 2) design specifications. The main contribution of this paper is combining CRONE approximation and linear phase CRONE approximation to implement the CPID controller. The designed controllers-RPID and CPID-are implemented to control flowing water with low pressure circuit, which is a first order plus dead time system. Simulation results demonstrate that while the implemented RPID controller fails to stabi

The effect of progressive income tax on inflation in Iraq for the period from 1995 to 2020 : applied research
...Show More Authors

Inflation is one of the important issues that the economic authorities in all countries of the world care about, where the loss of money for its function is one of the most important and largest inflationary effects that this phenomenon leaves on the economy, and Iraq, like other countries, has had its share of the problem of inflation for a long time due to the circumstances that He went through it, whether it was the wars he fought or the economic blockade that was imposed on him in the nineties of the last century. Economically, the problem of inflation is addressed through the use of fiscal policy tools, including tax increases in order to abso

The performance of MnO2/graphite electrode for TOC removal from wastewater by indirect electrochemical oxidation process
...Show More Authors

Electrochemical oxidation in the presence of sodium chloride used for removal of phenol and any other organic by products formed during the electrolysis by using MnO2/graphite electrode. The performance of the electrode was evaluated in terms fraction of phenol and the formed organic by products removed during the electrolysis process. The results showed that the electrochemical oxidation process was very effective in the removal of phenol and the other organics, where the removal percentage of phenol was 97.33%, and the final value of TOC was 6.985 ppm after 4 hours and by using a speed of rotation of the MnO2 electrode equal to 200 rpm.
