Performance Evaluation of Sequencing Batch Reactor and Conventional Wastewater Treatment Plant based on Reliability assessment
...Show More Authors

Baghdad city has been faced numerous issues related to freshwater environment deteriorations due to many reasons, mainly was the discharge of wastewater without adequate treatment. Al-Rustamiya Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) have been constructed among many plants in Baghdad city to reduce the amount of wastewater discharged into natural environment and its subsequent adverse effects. This study was conducted to evaluate the performance of the plant which consist of a conventional activated sludge (CAS) and sequencing batch reactors (SBR) systems as secondary treatment units and its ability to meet Iraqi specifications. A reliability level determination and analysis also were conducted to find the plant's stability and its capability to produce effluents that met the local standards. Coefficient of Reliability (COR) determination was done for effluent's concentrations of BOD5, COD, and TSS obtained from Al-Rustamiya WWTP for two years' data operation (2015-2016), using Iraqi standards concentrations. Generally, the results showed the effectiveness of Al-Rustamiya WWTP-(CAS and SBR system) was a major concern due to inadequate sewage treatment and that the plant effluents of both systems selected parameters BOD5, COD and TSS are not meeting the Iraqi standards due to many problems mainly were operational problems result in overall poor performance.

Performance analysis of optical communication networks utilizing optical fibers and OFDM technology
...Show More Authors

This document provides an examination of research, on combining orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) and optical fibers in communication networks. With the increasing need for data speeds and efficient use of bandwidth experts have been exploring the connection between OFDM, valued for its ability to handle multipath interference and optimize spectral usage and optical fiber technology which provides superior data transmission capabilities with low signal loss and strong protection, against electromagnetic disturbances. The review summarizes discoveries from studies examining the pros and cons of using OFDM, in optical communication networks. It discusses obstacles like fiber nonlinearity, chromatic dispersion and the effects o

Abstract<p>An experiment was carried out evaluate the performance of RAU combined equipment under three levels of practical speed, (V1) 4.06 km. h-1, (V2) 4.43 km. hr-1 and (V3) 5.76 km. hr-1, and three levels of depth with 10,20and 30 cm. It is denoted by D1, D2, D3 respectively. A split plot design was used within the RCBD design with three replications. The experiment results showed that the first practical speed 4.06 km.hr-1 achieved the lowest slippage percentage from 9.61%, lowest traction power 14.65hp, lowest soil penetration resistance to1.34 kg.cm-2, and the highest total operating </p> ... The importance of this research in studying the actor life existence on the stage through the performance art;where as all the literary theatrical dimensions didn't ignore the importance of the actor's performance.
So, it is shed a light on the nature of the scenery in the actor's performance and what its representations in the temporary directions ……..
The research set off from the imitation as a human instinct to the performance of the actor in post-modernity theater; so the researcher found that there is a question must be answered which is :Is the actor live a regression state in his theatrical performance ,or that the performance of the actor connect with collective conscience of human being which is repeated in certain

Directorial visions and sociological adaptation of heritage in theatrical performance
...Show More Authors

The theatrical performance has an aesthetic, artistic, technical and intellectual vision presented by the theatrical director according to the dualities of theatrical form and content, which depend on the uniformity and interconnection of theatrical elements, as the vision is integrated through the harmony and fusion of these elements and the flow of their coordination with an aesthetic system within the framework of the aesthetic space of the theatrical performance, and when the heritage is presented in the performance, as there will certainly be different readings of that heritage and moving away from the iconization of the event and highlighting it in a manner that is in line with the spirit of the age.

A Multidimensional View of Intellectual Capital and Dynamic Innovative Performance
...Show More Authors

A review of the literature on intellectual capital development was conducted using systemic criteria for the inclusion of relevant studies. The concepts behind the ideas explored in the present study were discussed in respect to the subject matter. Examining the past state of the art in the intellectual capital sector for achieving high levels of innovation performance provided a multidimensional picture of intellectual capital, innovation performance, and dynamic capabilities. The present review was designed to illustrate the correlation between intellectual capital and innovation performance, as well as the role of dynamic capabilities in moderating the relationship between these constructs. Accordingly, we presented an extensive

Effectiveness of Ombitasvir with Paritaprevir/Ritonavir plus Ribavirin on the Treatment of Naïve Patients with Chronic Hepatitis C Virus Genotype 4
...Show More Authors

Background Direct-acting antivirals (DAAs) combination therapies from various mechanisms of action and families have been revolutionized the management landscape of chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV). Ombitasvir, paritaprevir with ritonavir (OBV/PTV/r) ± ribavirin (RBV) is approved to treat HCV genotype 4 (GT4) infection. Here, our objective was to delineate the efficacy and safety of OBV/PTV/r plus RBV in treating of Egyptian naïve patients infected with HCV GT4.

Methods a cohort of 100 Egyptian patients infected with HCV GT4 was allocated and administered orally OBV/PTV/r with RBV. The primary endpoint of our study was a sustained virological response (HCV RNA < 12 IU/mL) 12 weeks after the c
