Civil Forfeiture is a controversial legal process that allows law enforcement authorities to seize assets when there is a suspicion that assets are the proceeds of crime, regardless of the accused’s conviction for crime. This process viewed on the one hand as a strong weapon for targeting criminal assets and means to commit further criminal activity, and on the other hand as a violation of the rights of individuals. Justifications have been introduced to support both sides. This Article examines those justifications, and supports the civil forfeiture system to be applied in Iraq. The study assessed the outcomes of the transconjunctival retroseptal approach, which reflects our experience in this type of surgery. Back ground: A urinary tract infection is one of the most common diseases occurring from neonate up to geriatric age groups
Patients and Methods: A total of (100) Midstream urine (MSU) samples were collected from patients having signs and symptoms of Lower urinary tract infection. These patients were attending Urology Clinic, Ramadi General Hospital.
Result: Culturing of (100) MSU samples on MacConky and blood agar resulted in (5) types of bacteria which included: Escherichia coli (46%) and it was found the most frequent bacteria causing LUTI. This is followed by Klebsiella pneumonia (23%), Pseudomonas aeruginosa (13%), Proteus mirabilis (10%) and Staphylococcus epidermidis (8%).
