Background: the activity of acute lymphoblastic leukemia had been observed to correlate with levels of serum lipoproteins

Objective: to evaluate the correlation of serum levels of different types of lipoproteins with activity of the disease in patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

Type of the study: A prospective study.

Methods: A study included patients diagnosed as acute lymphoblastic leukemia, their serum levels of lipoproteins at time of diagnosis, and on relapse were obtained for comparison.

1. Specifying the rate of woman topics in Al-Sabah newspaper, compared with the other subjects.
2. Revealing the nature of the topics of the woman that the newspaper dealt with.

In this work, a convex lens concentrating solar collector is designed and manufactured locally by using 10 convex lenses (concentrator) of a diameter 10cm and one Copper absorber tube of a diameter 12.5mm and 1mm in thickness 1m length. This research of using Feldspar in the production self compacting concrete (SCC) ( 5,10,15 )% as partial replacement by weight of cement .In this research some of fresh properties of SCC ( slump flow used V-funnel test and filling ability used ( U- box test ) for concrete mixes and also some of the harden properties of SCC ( compressive and flexural tests ). The research results showed that negative effect of Feldspar on the fresh properties of self compacting concrete but the positive effect of Feldspar on the harden properties of self compacting concrete .

This study involves adding nano materials and interaction with cement mortar behavior for several mortar samples under variable curing time with constant water to cement ratio (W/C = 0.5). The effects of adding nano materials on the microstructure of cement mortar were studied by (Scanning Electronic Microscopy (SEM) and X-Ray (for samples at different curing time 28 and 91 days. Small ratio replacements of nano particles (SiO₂ or Al₂O₃) were added to Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) type (I).
