Measurement of stability constant of some complexes formed by (6-(2-amino-2-(4hydroxy phenyl)-acetamido)-3,3-dimethyl-7-oxo-4-thia-1-aza-bicyclo[3,2,0] heptanes-2carboxylic acid (Amoxicillin) with (Cr+3, Co+2, Ni+2, Cu+2,Ag+1, and Cd+2) ions, have been performed(Amoxicillin) was found to behave as bidentate ligand with ahardness parameter(α)of (0.46)and asoftness parameter(β)of (1.03) while complexes being formed were of (1:1)ratio.
 

The surplus glycerol produced from biodiesel production process as a by-product with high quantity can be considered as a good source to prepare glycerol carbonate (GC) whereas with each 1000 kg from biodiesel obtains 100 kg from glycerol. Glycerol converted to glycerol carbonate over bio-char as a catalyst prepared by slow pyrolysis process under various temperatures from 400 ᴼC to 800 ᴼC. The char prepared at 700 ᴼC considered as a best one between the others which was manufactured to activate the transesterification reaction. GC have large scale of uses such as liquid membrane in gas separation, surfactants ,detergents , blowing agent , in plastics industry, in  Pharmaceutical industry and electrolytes in lithium batteries.

Abstract

Objective: The purpose of this study is to investigate the family-centered care health services of family-provider partnership in Baghdad/ Iraq.

Methods: A descriptive cross-sectional study is conducted in Baghdad Province. A cluster samples of 440 clients who review family centered care for the purpose of health services.  X-ray diffraction pattern reveled the tetragonal crystal system of SnO2  Thin films of SnO2 were prepared on glass substrates using Spray Pyrolysis Technique. The absorption and transmition spectra were recorded in the rang of 300-900nm,  the   spectral   dependences   of   absorption coefficient were calculated   from   transmission spectra. The direct and allowed optical  energy gap has been evaluated from plots of   (αhÏ…)²  vs. (hÏ…) . The energy gap was found to be  2.4-2.6eV.  The optical constant such as extinction coefficient( k )  and absorption coefficient ( α) have been evaluated.

Levan is an exopolysaccharide produced by various microorganisms and has a variety of applications. In this research, the aim was to demonstrate the biological activity of levan which produced from B. phenoliresistens KX139300. These were done via study the antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anticancer and antileishmanial activities in vitro. The antioxidant levan was shown 80.9% activity at 1250 µg/mL concentration. The efficient anti-inflammatory activity of 88% protein inhibition was noticed with levan concentration at 35 µg/mL. The cytotoxic activity of levan at 2500 µg/mL concentration showed a maximum cytotoxic effect on L20B cell line and promastigotes of Leishmani tropica.
