A skip list data structure is really just a simulation of a binary search tree. Skip lists algorithm are simpler, faster and use less space. this data structure conceptually uses parallel sorted linked lists. Searching in a skip list is more difficult than searching in a regular sorted linked list. Because a skip list is a two dimensional data structure, it is implemented using a two dimensional network of nodes with four pointers. the implementation of the search, insert and delete operation taking a time of upto . The skip list could be modified to implement the order statistic operations of RANKand SEARCH BY RANK while maintaining the same expected time. Serum levels of iron,copper,ceruloplasmin and transferrine were estimated in three groups of patients with ?- thalassemia: 24 patients have splenectomy thalassemia major, 29 patients have non splenectomy thalassemia major and 19 patients have thalassemia intermedia , data were compared to normal and pathological controls (anemia and minor). There were significant increase in trace element levels in all studied groups of pateints as compared to normal and pathological controls. Also there were a significant increase in ceruloplasmin levels,While the result revealed that there were a significant decrease in transferrine levels in all groups of patients studied as compared to normal and pathological controls. A simple, rapid, accurate and sensitive spectrophotometric method has been developed for the determing carbamate pesticides in both pure and water samples. The method is appropriate for the determination of carbofuran in the presence of other ingredients that are usually available in dosage forms. The effect of organic solvents on the spectrophotometric properties of the azo dye and the structure of the resulting product have also been worked out and it is found to be 1:1 benzidine :carbofuran.
