The present study explores numerically the energy storage and energy regeneration during Melting and Solidification processes in Phase Change Materials (PCM) used in Latent Heat Thermal Energy Storage (LHTES) systems. Transient two-dimensional (2-D) conduction heat transfer equations with phase change have been solved utilizing the Explicit Finite Difference Method (FDM) and Grid Generation technique. A Fortran computer program was built to solve the problem. The study included four different Paraffin's. The effects of container geometrical shape, which included cylindrical and square sections of the same volume and heat transfer area, the container volume or mass of PCM, variation of mass flow rate of heat transfer fluid (HTF), and temperatures difference between PCM and HTF were all investigated. Results showed that the PCMs in a cylindrical container melt and solidify quicker than the square container. The increase in mass flow rate and/or temperature difference decreases the time required for complete phase change. Paraffin's solidify quicker than they melt and store more energy than they release
The world seen rapid developments in the field of information technology within all life fields, particularly the educational field. Usually, we find the traditional educational methods lack a sense of realism and interaction. Solving this problem is by utilizing virtual reality technology to make actual practice present in the classroom. As an interactive technology, it provides students with an accessible, reliable environment that was previously unavailable and offered an opportunity for learning by practicing instead of teacher-centered learning and within a vision that does not look at the past but looks to the future. Virtual reality technology will change the nature of the relationship between the teacher and the student. Thus, the c
... Show MoreObjective: This study aims to analyze the role of the People's Republic of China in the 1955 Bandung Conference and assess its contributions to international cooperation and peace. It specifically examines how China's participation aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 16. Theoretical Framework: The research is grounded in a structuralist approach to international relations, focusing on the agency of developing nations in shaping a post-colonial global order. It considers concepts such as peaceful coexistence, national sovereignty, and South-South cooperation. Method: A historical-analytical method is employed, tracing China’s diplomatic trajectory from the 1954 Colombo and Bo

Owing to their role in pathogen transmission, these deer populations pose a risk to the livestock industry. However, little is known about the parasitic infection status of the breeding deer and the surrounding environment in Iraq. Atotal of 150 deer faecal samples were collected from male and female deer of various ages from four regions of Iraq and examined microscopically for intestinal parasites. Microscopic analysis revealed the presence of seven intestinal parasite species: Entamoeba spp. (48%), Giardia duodenalis (17%), Toxocara spp. (12%), Balantidium coli(9%), Taenia spp. (9%), Strongyloides spp. (3%) and Trichostrongy

A simple, accurate and rapid method for separation and determination of most commonly usedinsecticides in Iraq [thiamethoxam (Thi), imidacloprid (Imi), indoxacarb (Ind), and abamectin (Aba)] ispresented. The separation was performed by gradient reversed-phase high performance liquidchromatography on a C18 stationary phase column. The method was developed and validated. The-1mobile phase was a mixture of acetonitrile and water using gradient flow. The flow rate was 1.0 mL min .The optimum temperature of separation was 25 ºC. The detection was performed at multiple wavelengths. The analysis time was up to 10.5 minutes with retention times of 3.221, 3.854, 6.385, and 9.452 min for-1the studied insecticides. The linearity was in the range of 0.

The study also focus on behavioral approach role in consolidating accounting concepts through making harmony between them so that the accountant can influence the user behavior with the concepts and principles of accounting in an effort to provide quality characteristic of accounting information produced by him in consistent with his behavior and information user and its impact on the decision making process by the latter.
... Show MoreThe study aims to detail the chemistry of Sabkha located in Abu-Graib, western Baghdad to know the content of the rare elements distributed. Sabkhas are found in dry areas with significant evaporation rates. The quantity of dissolved salts rises as water evaporates from the shallow basins, eventually causing salt to crystallize. The creation of the distinctive salt pans and crusts on the top is greatly influenced by this process. The trace elements (Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Ni, Cu, Zn, Ga, As, Se, Rb, Sr, Y, Zr, Nb, Mo, Sn, Ba, Ta, Tl, Pb, Th, U, I, and Br) beside the major oxides were analyzed using XRF technique. There are no clear significant differences in the distribution of the elements between the two Sabkhas in the village of Kadim Al
