Quality Evaluation of Al-Rasheed Ready Concrete Mixture Plant By Using Six Sigma Approach

The objective of this research work is to evaluate the quality of central concrete plant of Al-Rasheed Company by using Six Sigma approach which is a measure of quality that strives for near elimination of defects using the statistical methods to improve outputs that are critical to customers. The fundamental objective of Six Sigma methodology is the implementation of a measurement-based strategy that focuses on process improvement and variation reduction to reach delighting customers, and then suggesting an improvement system to improve the production of concrete in Al-Rasheed State Contracting Construction Company.
A field survey includes two parts (open and close questionnaire) that aimed to get the data and information required for achieving the research where the answers of questionnaire sample have led, during the application of DMAIC improvement cycle, to identifying the potential possible reasons that caused quality deviations in concrete works. Two programs have been used: First, ‘Sigma Level Calculator’ which is formulated by the researcher to measure the components of the processes performance. Second, ‘QI Macros Lean Six Sigma SPC Software 2011’ which uses the statistical tools of Six Sigma DMAIC methodology for: identifying the root causes of defects, analyzing the data, determining capability and stability of process. Treatment of Dairy Wastewater by Electrocoagulation using Iron Filings Electrodes

The study dealt with real samples collected from local factory for dairy products in Baghdad. The Response Surface Methodology (RSM) was used to optimize five experimental variables at six levels for each variable, for estimating chemical oxygen demand (COD) removal efficiency. Simultaneous Determination of Sulfanilamide and Furosemide by Using Derivative Spectrophotometry

A simple, precise and accurate spectrophotometric method has been developed for simultaneous estimation of sulfanilamide and furosemide in their mixture by using first and second order derivative method in the ultraviolet region. The method depends on first and second derivative spectrophotometry, with zero-crossing and peak to base line and peak area measurements. The first derivative amplitudes at 214, 238 and 266 nm were selected for the assay of sulfanilamide and 240, 260, 284, 314 and 352 nm for furosemide. Enhancement of System Security by Using LSB and RSA Algorithms

A steganography hides information within other information, such as file, message, picture, or video. A cryptography is the science of converting the information from a readable form to an unreadable form for unauthorized person. The main problem in the stenographic system is embedding in cover-data without providing information that would facilitate its removal. In this research, a method for embedding data into images is suggested which employs least significant bit Steganography (LSB) and ciphering (RSA algorithm) to protect the data. System security will be enhanced by this collaboration between steganography and cryptography.
