REVIEW THE ASSESSMENT OF EFFECTS OF LOST TIME INJURIES IN AN INDUSTRIAL SYSTEM BY USING AN EXPLANATORY PROGRAM

Health and safety problem can be described by statistics it can only be understood by knowing and feeling the pain, suffering, and depression. Health and safety has a legal responsibility to protect it for everyone who can affect in the workplace. This includes manufacturers, suppliers, designers and controllers of work places and employees. Work injury is one of the major problems in manufacturing and production systems industries; it is reduced production efficiency and affects the cost. To gain flexibility from a traditional manufacturing system and production efficiency, this paper is about the application of estimating technology to preview and synthesis of Lost Time of Work Injuries in industry systems aims to provide a safe working environment for all employees to achieve safe workplaces, safe systems of work, and safety understanding within our workforce. Our industry often
has a poor record in dealing with modern and development techniques. Thus, as one of the targets, this leads to perform a helpful program plane to provide guidelines of management, employees to eliminate hazards, given the enormous cost of occupational personal damage in industry and to develop safe work methods work site. This work proposed a general methodology for constructing an explanatory software system to review and analysis workers injuries in a work site. The program language used is Axes, which suitable to shows categories of incidences and estimates costs to workers, employers and society of workplace injuries and work-related ill health. Data of the system was collected in the State Company for Woolen Industries in Al-Kadhumiaa in Iraq.
The resulting is to provide a simple obvious outline system to evaluate lost time injury and the net-costs on safety interfering at the company level to reduce occupational morbidity and generating a helpful system to estimate of the total costs to employers and workers of workplace accidents and work-related ill health.

Countermeasure of Riverbanks Local Scour and Deposition Using Different Shapes of Multiple Groynes with Different Spacing

In current study a computation fluid dynamic (CFD) technique was used to investigate the effect of groynes shape and spacing on the scour pattern and the maximum scour depth in open channel flow. CFD model have been validated throughout comparing the numerical results with three previous experimental studies for a single groyne located in open channel with three different shapes (L, quadrant, and parabola shapes). The comparison revealed very good agreement between numerical results of the maximum scour depth with the results of all experimental models. Moreover, investigations of the effect of multi-groynes (three groynes and four groynes) arranged in parallel with constant spacing and also with variable spacing have been done, the

Evaluation of Bearing Capacity of Strip Foundation Subjected to Eccentric Inclined Loads Using Finite Element Method

In real conditions of structures, foundations like retaining walls, industrial machines and platforms in offshore areas are commonly subjected to eccentrically inclined loads. This type of loading significantly affects the overall stability of shallow foundations due to exposing the foundation into two components of loads (horizontal and vertical) and consequently reduces the bearing capacity.

Based on a numerical analysis performed using finite element software (Plaxis 3D Foundation), the behavior of model strip foundation rested on dry sand under the effect of eccentric inclined loads with different embedment ratios (D/B) ranging from (0-1) has been explored. The results display that, the bearing capacity of st

A Study of using Mesocyclops hyalinus and Cyclops agilis as A biological Control of Anophles larvae

The fresh water ecosystem constitute an essential and very important for human life, for this reason it should be kept away from all the chemical pollutants including the pesticides The best way for Fighting harmful insects.(such as Anophles larvae) is by the biological control.

In the present study two species of Cyclopoida: Copepod, Mesocyclops hyalinus and Cyclops agilis Ø¢ were used as predators for Anophles larvae.

The data showed that the percentages of predation were 65% and 56%

forM. hyalinus and C. agilis respectively

and the means of predation were 1.3 larvae/ female and 1.1

Study of Optical and Structural Properties of CdTe Quantum Dots Capped with 3MPA Using Hydrothermal Method

Quantum dots (QDs) can be defined as nanoparticles (NPs) in which the movement of charge carriers is restricted in all directions. CdTe QDs are one of the most important semiconducting crystals among other various types where it has a direct energy gap of about 1.53 eV. The aim of this study is to exaine the optical and structural properties of the 3MPA capped CdTe QDs. The preparation method was based on the work of Ncapayi et al. for preparing 3MPA CdTe QDs, and hen, the same way was treated as by Ahmed et al. via hydrothermal method by using an autoclave at the same temperature but at a different reaction time. The direct optical energy gap of CdTe QDs is between 2.29 eV and 2.50 eV. The FTIR results confirmed the covalent bonding betwee

Kinetics of Electrochemical Removal of Nickel using Bio-electrochemical Reactor with Packed Bed Rotating Cylinder Cathode

The kinetics of nickel removal from aqueous solutions using a bio-electrochemical reactor with a packed bed rotating cylinder cathode was investigated. The effects of applied voltage, initial nickel concentration, the rotation speed of the cathode, and pH on the reaction rate constant (k) were studied. The results showed that the cathodic deposition occurred under mass transfer control for all values of the applied voltage used in this research. Accordingly, the relationship between concentration and time can be represented by a first-order equation. The rate constant was found to be dependent on the applied voltage, initial nickel concentration, pH, and rotation speed. It was increased as the applied voltage increased and decreased as t

Improving Oral Intake of Essential Oil Blends Using A Novel Formulation of Biodegradable Chitosan/Lecithin Nanoparticles

A novel, safe and efficient method was developed to encapsulate a blend of essential oils (EOs) into biodegradable nanoparticles (NPs). The biodegradable and biocompatible nanoparticles were made from chitosan (CH) and lecithin (LE) . The quality of the essential oils was verified using gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS). The synthesis of nanoparticles included emulsification, followed by sonication, homogenization, and extrusion. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) indicated that the nanoparticles were spherical in shape with sizes ranging from 25 to 70 nm, while dynamic light scattering (DLS) showed high negative zeta potentials. The stability of the final formula was evaluated in gastric and intes
