The present work aimed to study the efficiency of nanofiltration (NF) and reverse osmosis (RO) process for treatment of heavy metals wastewater contains zinc. In this research, the salt of heavy metals were zinc chloride (ZnCl2) used as feed solution.Nanofiltration and reverse osmosis membranes are made from polyamide as spiral wound module. The parameters studied were: operating time (0 – 70 min), feed concentrations for zinc ions (10 – 300 mg/l), operating pressure (1 – 4 bar).The theoretical results showed, flux of water through membrane decline from 19 to 10.85 LMH with time. Proteus mirabilis ? -lactamase of local isolates number 4TF represent karkh side and 20TF represent rusafa side of Baghdad were extracted and purified 23.17, 25.23 fold with yield of 36.66 %, 37.5% and specific activity 11.8, 12.6 of unit/ mg protein by DEAE –cellulose and Sepharose 4B (respectively ).Molecular weight of both enzyme was about 35500 Dalton determined by gel filtration. The formation and structural investigation of three new Mannich bases are reported. The synthesis of these compounds was accomplished via a multicomponent one-pot reaction using CaCl2 as a catalyst. The reaction of the benzaldehyde, m-bromoaniline and cyclohexanone or 4-methylcyclohexanone resulted in the formation of L1 and L3, respectively. The synthesis of L2 was achieved by mixing benzaldehyde, o-bromoaniline and cyclohexanone. The isolated compounds were characterised using a range of analytical and spectroscopic techniques.
