Data Base for Dynamic Soil Properties of Seismic Active Zones in Iraq

Iraq is located near the northern tip of the Arabian plate, which is advancing northwards relative to the Eurasian plate, and is predictably, a tectonically active country. Seismic activity in Iraq increased significantly during the last decade. So structural and geotechnical engineers have been giving increasing attention to the design of buildings for earthquake resistance. Dynamic properties play a vital role in the design of structures subjected to seismic load. The main objective of this study is to prepare a data base for the dynamic properties of different soils in seismic active zones in Iraq using the results of cross hole and down hole tests. From the data base collected it has been observed that the average vertical compressional wave velocities were ranged from (1125-2500) m/s in the North, (306-1544) m/s in the Middle, (805-1812) m/s in the western south, (377-1326) m/s in the eastern south and (334-1404) m/s in the South of Iraq. And the average vertical shear wave velocities were ranged from (225-476) m/s in the North, (111-408) m/s in the Middle, (268-659) m/s in the western south, (131-380)m/s in the eastern south and (102-365) m/s in the South of Iraq.

Cladophora Algae Modified with CuO Nanoparticles for Tetracycline Removal from Aqueous Solutions

The exploratory and Confirmatory Factorial structure for Riso-Hadson enneagram test indicator

This  investigation was conducted to recognize the structure for (RHETI version 2.5  1999) by using exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis. Sample of (620) student of Al-Mustansrya University were administered the (RHETI).

The data of their responses was analyzed by using (PAF) and oblique rotating .

The findings explored (9) factors as one factor for each type and (184) items were loaded by the factors: (60) item for feeling center, (61) items for instinctive center and (63) items for thinking center.

Determine Most Stable Isobar for Nuclides with A= (15-30) & (101- 115)

In this study the most stable isobar for some isobaric families (light and  intermediate ) nuclei with mass number (A) equals to (15-30) & (101- 115) have been determined. This determination of stable nuclide can help to determine the suitable nuclide, which can be used in different fields.

Most stable isobar can be determined by two means. First: plot mass parabolas (plotting the binding energy (B.E) as a function of the atomic number (Z)) for these isobaric families, in this method most stable isobars represent the lowest point in mass parabola (the nuclide with the highest value of binding energy).
