Abstract

This Research aims for harnessing critical and innovative thinking approaches besides innovative problem solving tools in pursuing continual quality improvement initiatives for the benefit of achieving operations results effectively in water treatment plants in Baghdad Water Authority. Case study has been used in fulfilling this research in the sadr city water treatment plant, which was chosen as a study sample as it facilitates describing and analyzing its current operational situation, collecting and analyzing its own data, in order to get its own desired improvement opportunity be done. Many statistical means and visual thinking promoting methods has been used to fulfill research task.

The research amid to find out the extent of Iraqi oil companies commitment to implement internal control procedures in accordance with the updated COSO framework. As the research problem was represented in the fact that many of the internal control procedures applied in the Iraqi oil companies are incompatible with most modern international frameworks for internal control, including the integrated COSO framework, issued by the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Tradeway Committee. Abstract:

Viral marketing has become one of the modern strategies adopted by organizations in the marketing of products and services. The idea of viral marketing focuses on the social relations between individuals and groups. As a result of the technological development, most organizations have resorted to using the Internet and its applications and social media to market and promote their products. To reach the largest number of consumers to display their products and services in many ways, including text, audio, visual or video and thus affect the behavior of the consumer.

Biological activity of the carotenoids which are produced fromchemically-mutaed local isolate of Rhodotorula mucilaginosawas studied. The results showed variation of inhibition activity of caritenoids against different types of pathogenic bacteria include, Staph aureus, E. coli, B. subtilis and Salmo. typh., the number declined from 2×107cell/ml to 2×104, 5×104, 2×105, 9×105 cell/ml respectively after 24hour. The produced carotenoids from alocal mutant Rhodotorula mucilaginosa revealed an antioxidant activity as free radical removal of 85.6%. Background: Carpal tunnel syndrome
(CTS) is the most common neuropathy of the
upper limb due to compression of the median
nerve at the wrist.
Objectives: to test the benefit of steroid
irrigation of the wound to alleviate the post
operative pain.
Methods: Forty patients had carpal tunnel
release were divided into two groups with and
without steroid irrigation.
Results: Forty patients 38 female and 2 male
with forty CTS had open surgical release were
studied for postoperative pain at the wrist area.
Group 1 (patients treated with surgery alone)
and group 2 (patients treated with surgery and
steroid).In group1, 11 patients (55%) had
persistent agonizing pain at the ulnar side of
the wrist
