The printed circuit heat exchanger is a plate type heat exchanger with a high performance and compact size. Heat exchangers such as this need a unique form of bonding and other techniques to be used in their construction. In this study, the process of joining plates, diffusion bonding, was performed and studied. A special furnace was manufactured for bonding purposes. The bonding process of copper metal was carried out under specific conditions of a high temperature up to 700 oC, high pressure of 3.45 MPa, and in an inert environment (Argon gas) to make tensile samples. The tensile samples are cylindrical shapes containing groves representing the flow channels in the printed circuit heat exchanger and checking their tensile strength in addition to the standard shape of the tensile specimen to check the yield and ultimate strength of the copper. A higher tensile strength was obtained for diffusion bonded specimens than the yield strength of copper, up to 1.35 times the copper yield strength. The tensile strength decreases with the increase in the number of groves and the decrease in the distance between one grove and another. This is because the stress is concentrated in the sharp corners. A prototype heat exchanger of two plates and a header to be tested for its compressive strength was also manufactured. The results showed that the bond bears an air pressure of up to 8 bar without fail. It was also found to withstand a hydraulic pressure of up to 60 bar until it reached failure.

In addition to identifying the number of people registered in and the number of intellectual outputs stored in it. The descriptive approach and survey methods were adopted by visiting the repository's website and the websites of the University of Baghdad's formations during the period (1-6/4/2024). The theoretical framework included an explanation of the concept of the digital repository, the importance of repositories, their features, and types, with reference to models of Iraqi, Arab, and foreign university digital repositories. The solution is based on the theory of Hopkins for the formation of images in optical instruments in which it was shown that for all practical cases, the illumination of the object may be considered as due to a self – luminous source placed at the exit pupil of the condenser , and the diffraction integral describing the intensity distribution in the image of a single bar – as an object with half – width (U0 = 8 ) and circular aperture geometry is viewed , which by suitable choice of the coherence parameters (S=0.25,1.0.4.0) can be fitted to the observed distribution in various types of mi

A review of related literature indicates that almost no study has ever attempted to focus specifically on the effect of the different kinds of blended learning strategies on EFL students` achievement in the educational research writing, and the present study attempts to fill this gap. The study focused on the students at the Master's degree in Educational Research Writing in the first semester of the academic year 2020/2021. The sample has selected from the college of Education Ibn-Rushd (18) students. Material has been designed for the Master candidates’ participants of the study was divided into two groups: one an e

Works of fiction often depict the disastrous consequences of these epidemics, both real and imagined, focusing on the gothic experience the characters endure and their struggle to survive the disasters. This article explores this major issue in a contemporary novel, Laurie Halse Anderson’s Fever 1793 (2000). It chronicles the journey of the female protagonist and her struggle to survive and achieve autonomy during the historical yellow fever that hit Philadelphia more than two centuries ago, which stuck to the me

William Shakespeare's play Coriolanus explores the journey of power and the transformation of a skilled warrior into a statesman. This paper employs Machiavelli’s framework of pragmatic statecraft to analyse Coriolanus’s tragic failure as a political leader despite his unparalleled prowess as a Roman general. It analyses Coriolanus's political career, revealing how his military skills, while effective in warfare, do not translate into political success. The paper shows that Coriolanus’s contempt for performative politics, refusal to adopt civic diplomacy, and failure to soften aristocratic pride with populist appeal turn plebeians against him and alienate patricians. His upholding of martial honour — fostered by his mother Volumnia
