The experiment was carried out in the Department of Biology, College of Education for Pure Science –Ibn AL Haitham, University of Baghdad, Iraq, during the growing season 2017 – 2018. The objective was to find out the effect of foliar spraying of tryptophan and IQ COMBI nano fertilizer on cumin plants. The obtained results show that both tryptophan and IQ COMBI nano fertilizer increased plant height, root length, shoot dry weight, the content of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, protein percentage, no. compound umbel.plant-1, wt. seeds. plant-1. The optimum treatment combination was calculated as 30 mg.L-1 tryptophan, 1000mg.L-1 IQ COMBI nano fertilizer, which gave the highest values for most of the parameters studied

Microorganisms establish both structural and functional construction in the marine environment, despite scientific advances, the identification of marine bacterial species is still considered as a common challenge in microbiology. The research aims to identify the effect of teaching-learning design based on the constructivism theory on the life skills of middle stage students. The sample consisted of (60) students from one of the middle schools in Baghdad's governorate. The experimental group and control group consisted of 30 students for each group, the research tool was the life skills scale composed of (78) items. The scale proved its validity and reliability, which was found to be (0.85). The results showed a statistically significant difference in life skills between the two groups of research in favor of the experimental group, which studied the educational design according to models of constructivism theory compared to the usual method of teaching.
