Survey Study of Factional Order Controllers

This is a survey study that presents recent researches concerning factional controllers. It presents several types of fractional order controllers, which are extensions to their integer order counterparts. The fractional order PID controller has a dominant importance, so thirty-one paper are presented for this controller. The remaining types of controllers are presented according to the number of papers that handle them; they are fractional order sliding mode controller (nine papers), fuzzy fractional order sliding mode controller (five papers), fractional order lag-lead compensator (three papers), fractional order state feedback controller (three papers), fractional order fuzzy logic controller (three papers). Finally, several conclusions were drawn from the results that were given in this papers

Approximate Solution for advection dispersion equation of time Fractional order by using the Chebyshev wavelets-Galerkin Method

The aim of this paper is adopted to give an approximate solution for advection dispersion equation of time fractional order derivative by using the Chebyshev wavelets-Galerkin Method . The Chebyshev wavelet and Galerkin method properties are presented. This technique is used to convert the problem into the solution of linear algebraic equations. The fractional derivatives are described based on the Caputo sense. Illustrative examples are included to demonstrate the validity and applicability of the proposed technique.

Implementation of Power System Stabilizer Based on Conventional and Fuzzy Logic Controllers

To damp the low-frequency oscillations which occurred due to the disturbances in the electrical power system, the generators are equipped with Power System Stabilizer (PSS) that provide supplementary feedback stabilizing signals. The low-frequency oscillations in power system are classified as local mode oscillations, intra-area mode oscillation, and interarea mode oscillations. A suitable PSS model was selected considering the low frequencies oscillation in the inter-area mode based on conventional PSS and Fuzzy Logic Controller. Two types of (FIS) Mamdani and suggeno were considered in this paper. The software of the methods was executed using MATLAB R2015a package.

An Efficient Numerical Method for Solving Volterra-Fredholm Integro-Differential Equations of Fractional Order by Using Shifted Jacobi-Spectral Collocation Method

The aim of this article is to solve the Volterra-Fredholm integro-differential equations of fractional order numerically by using the shifted Jacobi polynomial collocation method. The Jacobi polynomial and collocation method properties are presented. This technique is used to convert the problem into the solution of linear algebraic equations. The fractional derivatives are considered in the Caputo sense. Numerical examples are given to show the accuracy and reliability of the proposed technique.

Optimal second order integral sliding mode control for a flexible joint robot manipulator

The flexible joint robot manipulators provide various benefits, but also present many control challenges such as nonlinearities, strong coupling, vibration, etc. This paper proposes optimal second order integral sliding mode control (OSOISMC) for a single link flexible joint manipulator to achieve robust and smooth performance. Firstly, the integral sliding mode control is designed, which consists of a linear quadratic regulator (LQR) as a nominal control, and switching control.       In this paper we shall prepare an  sacrificial solution for fuzzy differential algebraic equations of fractional order (FFDAEs) based on the Adomian decomposition method (ADM) which is proposed to solve (FFDAEs) . The blurriness will appear in the boundary conditions, to be fuzzy numbers. The solution of the proposed pattern of  equations is studied in the form of a convergent series with readily computable components. Several examples are resolved as  clarifications, the numerical outcomes are obvious that the followed approach is simple to perform and precise when utilized to (FFDAEs).

Stability of Nonlinear Systems of Fractional Order Differential Equations

In this paper, a sufficient condition for stability of a system of nonlinear multi-fractional order differential equations on a finite time interval with an illustrative example, has been presented to demonstrate our result. Also, an idea to extend our result on such system on an infinite time interval is suggested.
