During the two last decades ago, audio compression becomes the topic of many types of research due to the importance of this field which reflecting on the storage capacity and the transmission requirement. The rapid development of the computer industry increases the demand for audio data with high quality and accordingly, there is great importance for the development of audio compression technologies, lossy and lossless are the two categories of compression. This paper aims to review the techniques of the lossy audio compression methods, summarize the importance and the uses of each method.

Background: Prosthodontic services have changed markedly due to an introduction of new materials, techniques and treatment options. The aim of this study were to identify the type of materials and the methods used by dental practitioners in their clinics to construct conventional complete dentures and to specify the type and design for removable partial dentures (RPDs); and to then compare them with those taught in dental schools. The study aimed to prepare a nanocapsules formulation from the acetonic extract of Moringa oleifera leaves, using polymeric capsules, and test its toxicity against the third instar larvae of Culex pipiens mosquitoes. The leaf extract was prepared using acetone as a solvent, and the nano polymeric capsules were prepared using the synthetic polymer polyethylene glycol 4000. The results showed the successful preparation of nano polymeric capsules from the leaf extract, with an average particle size of 259.2 nm, and a nanocapsule diameter of 263.83 nm, as determined by DLS and SEM analysis, respectively.
