(Gastropoda, Stylommatophora, are collected between March and April 2021
from gardens and nurseries in Baghdad province, this species was recorded as a new record to
Iraq molluscan fauna. Description of the most important characteristics, measurements of the
shell are presented with digital p photographs, subsequently, this study represents the first record
of the Polygyridae in Iraq.

SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERISATION OF NEWCo(II), Zn(II) AND Cd(II) COMPLEXES DERIVED FROM OXADIAZOLE LIGAND AND 1,10-PHENANTHROLINE AS Co-LIGAND

In this work, prepared new ligand namely 5-(2,4-dichloro-phenyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole-2-(3H)-thion, was obtained from the 2,4-dichlorobenzoyl chloride with hydrazine, after that reaxtion with CS2/KOH in methanol.

The ligand [Potassium (E)-(4-(((2-((1-(3-aminophenyl) ethylidene) amino)-4-oxo-1, 4-dihydropteridin-6-yl) methyl) amino) benzoyl)-L-glutamate] was prepared from the condensation reaction of folic acid with (3-aminoacetophenone) through Schiff reaction to give a new Schiff base ligand [H2L]. The ligand [H2L] was characterized by elemental analysis CHN, atomic absorption (AA),(FT-IR),(UV-Vis), TLC, ES mass (for spectroscopes), molar conductance, and melting point. Background: Sprite coding is a very effective technique for clarifying the background video object. The sprite generation is an open issue because of the foreground objects which prevent the precision of camera motion estimation and blurs the created sprite. Objective: In this paper, a quick and basic static method for sprite area detection in video data is presented. Two statistical methods are applied; the mean and standard deviation of every pixel (over all group of video frame) to determine whether the pixel is a piece of the selected static sprite range or not. A d.c. magnetron sputtering system was designed and fabricated. The chamber of this system is consisted from two copper coaxial cylinders. The inner one used as the cathode and the outer one used as anode with magnetic coil located on the outer cylinder (anode). The axial behavior of the magnetic field strength along the cathode surface for various coil current (from 2A to 14A) are shown. The results of this work are investigated by three cylindrical Langmuir probes that have different diameters that are 2.2mm, 1mm, and 0.45mm. The results of these probes show that, there are two Maxwellian electron groups appear in the central region. As well as, the density of electron and ion decreases with increases of magnetic field strengths.

Dried imported blood worms Chironomus reparius was used to motivate the growth of young carp Cyprinus carpio L ., as fish powder was partial and total replaced by blood worms which is a component of the fodder of the common carp fish. Results have shown that blood worm partial replacement treatment surpasses the imported fish powder. Rates of growth motivation of this treatment have been higher than both the control and total replacement processes. Results have shown significant differences in the weight of the fish in the partial replacement of the fish powder by the blood worms.

Extension of bandwidth for high reflectance zone for the spectral region (8-14pm) was studied adapting the concept of contiguous and overlapping high reflectance stacks. Computations was carried out using the modified characteristic matrix theory restricted to near-normal incidence of light on dielectric , homogenous and isotropic symmetrical stack. Certain precautions must be taken in the choice of stacks to avoid deep —reflectance minima from developing within the extended high reflectance region. Results illustrate that the techniques of extending the high reflectance regions are applicable not only to mirrors , but also to short-and long-edge filter and to narrow band pass filters.
