Twenty nine core samples were taken from Ratawi 7 Oil well according to the presence of oil in formation and availability of core samples. This well is located in the province of Basra/southern Iraq. The samples were collected from Yamama Formation. The core samples are taken from the well at different depths, ranging between (3663m-3676m). The range of Vp for these core samples is (668-4017 m/sec) and its average is (1779 m/sec), While the range of Vs is (291-1854 m/sec) and its average is (796 m/sec).      In this paper, we consider a two-phase Stefan problem in one-dimensional space for parabolic heat equation with non-homogenous Dirichlet boundary condition. This problem contains a free boundary depending on time. Therefore, the shape of the problem is changing with time. To overcome this issue, we use a simple transformation to convert the free-boundary problem to a fixed-boundary problem. However, this transformation yields a complex and nonlinear parabolic equation. The resulting equation is solved by the finite difference method with Crank-Nicolson scheme which is unconditionally stable and second-order of accuracy in space and time.      Unknown subsurface leaking water sources and possible subsurface seepage from a sewage tank in a garden at Al-Khawarizmi engineering college, University of Baghdad, were detected in this study. The 2D electrical resistivity imaging. The ERI survey is carried out along two lines, 60m and 50m long, with an electrode spacing of 1 m, forming a cross using the Wenner-Schlumberger array configuration. Line 1 is 60m, while line 2 is 50m.
