This research focus on studying 3 types of Bakhour in the markets of Baghdad city and assessing their impact on the quality of life for asthmatic whom used Bakhour at their houses through investigating particles physical properties, also estimating the levels of heavy metals (Cd, Cu, Mn, Pb and Zn), Particulate Matter PM2.5, PM10, Total Volatile Organic Compounds (TVOC) and formaldehyde (HCHO). This study deals with air pollution tolerance index (APTI) and anatomical variation in leaves of two species of terrestrial plants Ficus sp. and Conocarpus sp. that have bee commonly the separated along roadsides in many stations within Babylon province. APTI values of both species were less than 10 during study period which represented sensitivity of these plants to air pollution. There are Anatomical responses to pollution in the leaves of both studied species. Main adaptations included increased thickness of parenchyma cell walls with clear dark deposits in sections of Ficus sp. from sections of stations 2 and 4 which represent polluted stations. n this work, a series of new nucleoside analogues (β-glucose liked to pyrazoline moiety) was synthesized. In the beginning, chalcone [1-3] was formed from the reaction of acetophenone and benzaldehyde derivatives in the presence of sodium hydroxide. Pyrazolines [4-6] were obtained from the reaction of the prepared chalcones and hydrazine hydrate in the presence of ethanol absolute. These pyrazolines were treated with β-glucose pentaacetate to afford a series of desirable protected nucleoside analogues [8-10]. After that hydrolysis of protected nuclioside analogues in sodium methoxide gave free nucleoside analogues [11-13]. These new formed compounds were diagnosed by 13C-NMR and 1H- NMR for some of them and FT-IR spectroscopy.

     The goal of the research is to develop a sustainable rating system for roadway projects in Iraq for all of the life cycle stages of the projects which are (planning, design, construction and operation and maintenance). This paper investigates the criteria and its weightings of the suggested roadway rating system depending on sustainable planning activities. The methodology started in suggesting a group of sustainable criteria for planning stage and then suggesting weights from (1-5) points for each one of it.
