This research investigated the effectiveness of using different thickness values of polyimide (PI) interfacial layer in order to improve electrical and thermal properties of Al/ PI /c-Si capacitor. The PI spectra produced by poly(amic acid) (PAA) were characterized by using FT-IR analysis. After imidization of PAA, some absorption peaks vanished, whereas PI peaks appeared, due to the complete conversion of PAA to PI.

    The results show that thermal decomposition resistance of polyimide films increases with the increase of polyimide thickness, because of the increase of the imide bond and the decrease of the average distance between amide groups.

The current study sheds light on the measurement and estimation of the radioactivity of radionuclides (²³⁸U, ²²⁶Ra, ²³²Th, and ⁴⁰k) in natural waters of different regions of Nineveh Governorate in Iraq.15 samples were collected from different sources of natural waters, where gamma-ray spectroscopy was used using NaI)TI) sodium iodide detector to determine the concentration of radioactivity in the samples. In the current work, Punica granatum L. peel, Artemisia herba-alba Asso., Matricaria chamomilla L., and Camellia sinensis extracts were used to prepare manganese dioxide (MnO₂) nanoparticles utilizing a green method. Energy-dispersive X-ray (EDX) analysis, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) analysis, and Filed emission-scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) analysis were used to evaluate the produced MnO₂ NPs. FE-SEM pictures demonstrated how agglomerated nanoparticles formed. According to FE-SEM calculations, the particle size ranged from 18.7-91.5 nm.
