In this research, new compounds were synthesized via the reaction of dichloroacetic acid with two moles of piperidine. The novel acid 1 was converted to its ester 2. Acid hydrizide 3 was prepared by the reaction of hydrazine hydrate with new ester 2, which was later used to prepare derivatives of Schiff bases 4-13. In the last step, Schiff bases and thioglycolic acid were reacted to give thiazolidine derivatives 14-23. All these compounds were diagnosed using melting points, FTIR, 1HNMR and mass spectroscopy. Toxoplasma gondii is a unique intracellular parasite, which infect a large proportion of the world population, but uncommonly causes clinically significant disease. The present study was performed to estimate the prevalence of toxoplasmosis in 400 apparently healthy blood donor males, their ages were between 18 and 57 years using enzyme linked immunosorbent assay, and to examine the effects of infection on total testosterone, free testosterone and follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) levels in their sera. The Fylex extract exert a high inhibition effect against A . flavus growth on PDA medium, as the fungus growth was completely inhibited by 100% at a concentration of 0.2 and 0.3% of studied extract, while the lowest inhibition percentage (71%) was found at a concentration of 0.1%. Whereas magnesium oxide nanoparticles showed the highest inhibition ratio of A. flavus (100%) was detected at 0.2% and the lowest inhibition ratio (81.66%) was at concentration 0.5%.
