Morphological description and histological structure of the liver have been studied in Durra bird Melopsittacus undulatus. The liver is a bilobed organ , the left lobe with three secondary lobes and slightly larger than the right lobe which is elliptical in shape. Liver is surrounded by a capsule that consists of thin layer of connective tissue with no distinction between interlobular septa . The parenchyma tissue consists of hepatic cells arranged with thickness 2_1 cell. Portal area appears within the liver parenchyma tissue composed of hepatic artery, portal vein and bile duct and supported by connective tissue. A gallbladder was not noticed in this species.             

Smoking is the most noticeably horrible human conduct; it is rehearsed by individuals dependent on nicotine numerous hurtful sicknesses, for example, cancer and liver disorder are brought about by smoking cigarettes. So this study aimed to study some of the liver function represented by the enzymes aspartate aminotransferase (AST or GOT) and alanine aminotransferase (ALT or GPT) in smokers and non-smokers for 50 persons in a group consists of 25 smokers and 25 non-smokers of different ages and to study the effectiveness of cigarette smoking on liver enzymes by checking the secretion of (AST) (35.84± 4.1)U/ 1 (ALT)(51.08±7.286 ) U/1(p<0.05) relative to non-smokers were significantly correlated with heavy cigarette smoking.

The study involved the description of the environmental characters and distribution of Anogramma  leptophylla  (Annual  Maidenhair fern)  in Erbil and Garmian districts during May- 2017 in Kurdistan of Iraq. The geographical distribution of the taxa was recorded in Bani Bee region for the first time within the Garmian district but it was recorded before in the Zar Gali region within the Erbil district. The purpose of this paper is to build a simulation model by using HEC-RAS software to simulate the reality of water movement in the main river of Basra City (South of Iraq) which is known as Siraji-Khoura River. The main objective of the simulation is to detect areas where the water cycle is interrupted in some stations of the river stream, as this river has become an outlet for the disposal of sewage, leading to pollution and causing weakness in some sections of the river & obstructing the water cycle that takes place between this river and Shatt al – Arab river. This paper introduces a non-conventional approach with multi-dimensional random sampling to solve a cocaine abuse model with statistical probability. The mean Latin hypercube finite difference (MLHFD) method is proposed for the first time via hybrid integration of the classical numerical finite difference (FD) formula with Latin hypercube sampling (LHS) technique to create a random distribution for the model parameters which are dependent on time t . The LHS technique gives advantage to MLHFD method to produce fast variation of the parameters’ values via number of multidimensional simulations (100, 1000 and 5000).
