The present work aims to investigate approaches, measures and detection of indoor radon level in buildings of the department of physics in college of science of Baghdad University. CR-39 solid state nuclear track detectors were used to measure the radon concentrations inside the rooms, including five laboratories and five workplace rooms in ground and first storey of the department. The average radon concentration at first storey was found to be 43.1±13.2 Bq/m3 and 40.1±13.4 Bq/m3 at the ground storey. Two molecular imprinted polymer (MIP) membranes for Levofloxacin (LEV) were prepared based on PVC matrix. The azo dye (LH) was used to synthesize a series of complexes with Fe(III), Co(II), Ru(III), and Rh(III) metal ions. The ligand (LH) was synthesized by the condensation reaction between tryptamine and 2-hydroxyquinoline. Due to the presence of effective donor atoms (-N=N- azo and OH hydroxyl groups), the ligand was subsequently refluxed with various metal ions, leading to the formation of nonelectrolytic [M:L] (1:2). These compounds were characterized using 1H and 13C-NMR, FT-IR, UV–Vis, mass spectrometry, TGA, DSC, and C.H.N. analysis, along with conductivity, magnetic susceptibility, and metal and chlorine content measurements. The results indicated that the ligand acts as a bidentate, with the complexes adopting an octahedral geometry.

This study included an analysis of three stations (Al Dora, Al Za'franiya, and Arab Ejbur) chosen to study the Physiochemical and microorganism (Fungi and Bacteria) loud of the Tigris River in the southern section of Baghdad city.
