The hydrometallurgical method was used to platinum and palladium leaching with aqua regia solution (3HCl: HNO₃). Nanosilica was extracted from rice husk, which was locally collected from the Iraqi mill at Al-Mishikhab district in Najaf Governorate, Iraq.
