Active compounds were extracted from Anethum gravoelens to produce safety vegetable treat for diabetic, the results showed that alcoholic extract of Anethum gravoelens contain Alkaloid, glycosides, phenols, resins, saponins, coumarins, flavonoide, terpenes, steroids and volatile oils. after that it was studied the effect of alcoholic extract at dose 50, 100 mg/kg of body weight in reduced glucose level in serum of diabetic rats induced by alloxan, after the end of experiment for period 30 days the rats fasting 12 hours to measure the level of glucose in serum, the result showed asignificant decrease in serum glucose level of rats treated with extract in comparison with positive group (alloxan), So biochemical tests showed significant decrease in total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), Low density lipoprotein (LDL) level in serum of rats treated with extract, also the results showed significant increase in high density lipoprotein (HDL) level in serum of rats treated with extract in comparison with positive group (alloxan).
The incorporation of safety characteristics into the traditional pavement structural design or in the functional evaluation of pavement condition has not been established yet. The design has focused on the structural capacity of the roadway so that the pavement can withstand specific level of repetitive loading over the design life. This paper studies the effect of contact areas on the transient response of mechanical structures. Precisely, it investigates replacing the ordinary beam of a structure by two beams of half the thickness, which are joined by bolts. The response of these beams is controlled by adjusting the tightening of the connecting bolts and hence changing the magnitude of the induced frictional force between the two beams which affect the beams damping capacity. Nosocomial infections are one of the most important causes of mortality and morbidity in hospitals. These are major public health problems worldwide, but particularly in developing countries. The purpose of this research was to analyze the frequency of the microorganisms in the specimens taken from the surgical wounds, and to examine antimicrobial susceptibility for some isolates . Wound swabs were examined from June 2010 to January 2011. Most medical books and researches documented that increased body weight is a predisposing factor to hypertension , and there is recent work in this field as well. In this research , the relationships between hypertension and body weight with age were studied in Iraqi population . It is concluded that diastolic hypertension is separated from systolic and combined hypertension and increased body weight has little effect on increased blood pressure.
