Chloroquine and Hydroxychloroquine drugs are widely prescribed for malaria disease. Since the end of 2019, humans have been under threat due to a disease called (COVID-19), which was first reported in China. Many methodical approaches have been reported to quantify chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine in blood, urine, plasma, serum, and pharmaceutical dosage form. Some of these techniques are spectrophotometry, liquid chromatography with a mass detector, gas chromatography, and ultra-performance, high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), in addition to electrochemical methods. This literature review discusses various analytical methods for the determining hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine.

This paper describes the development of a simple spectrophotometric determination of bismuth III with 4-(2-pyridylazo) resorcinol (PAR) in aqueous solution in the presence of cetypyridinium chloride surfactant at pH 5 which exhibits maximum absorption at 532 nm. Beer's law is obeyed over the range 5-200 µg/25 mL. i.e. 0.2-8 ppm with a molar absorptivity of 3×104 l.mol-1.cm-1 and Sandell's sensitivity index of 0.0069 µg.cm-2. The method has been applied successfully in the determination of Bi (III) in waters and veterinary preparation.

The best sun duration hours regions (maximum hours) in Iraq were estimated detected by using Geographic information system (GIS Ver. 9.2) program to apply the (Inverse distance weighting) IDW exact interpolation technique depending on the measured data of metrological stations were distributed on the land areas of Iraq. In our galaxy there are nine naked plerionic systems known, of which the Crab Nebula is the best-known example. A new Turbidimetric method characterized by simplicity, accuracy and speed for determination of iron(III) in drug samples by continuous flow injection analysis. The method was based on the formation of complex for iron(III) with 8-hydroxyquinoline in presence of ammonium acetate as a medium for the formation of deep green precipitate and this precipitate was determined using homemade Linear Array Ayah-5SX1-T-1D continuous flow injection analyser. The optimum parameters were 2.6 mL.min-1 flow rate using H2O as a carrier, 1.9 mL.min-1 (14 mmol.L-1) ammonium acetate, 2.4 mL.min-1 (14 mmol.L-1) 8-hydroxyquinoline, 60 L sample volume and open valve for the purge of the sample segment.      The current work was undertaken to obtain the crude extract of PPO and laccase enzyme from the leaves of Malva parviflora. All leaves were washed with tap water, then the extraction was performed to acquire the crude extract’s enzymes.
