A new, simple, rapid and sensitive spectrophotometric method for the determination of sulfamethoxazole in both pure form and pharmaceutical preparations has been reported.The adapted technique based on utilization 4-aminobenzene sulfonic acid as a new modern chromogenic through an oxidative coupling reaction with sulfamethoxazole and potassium iodate in basic media to form orange soluble dye product with absorption maxima at 490 nm. Subject to Beer's law in the range 2–32μg mL^-1. The values of molarabsorption coefficient (ε) and correlation coefficient were found to be 9.118 × 10³ and0.9999 respectively whereas the Sandels index was 0. 02778 µg.cm^-2.

Ceftriaxone sodium were one of the widely antibacterial drugs used. Azo dye derivatization of diazonium salt that formed via the reaction between ceftriaxone with hydrochloric acid and sodium nitrite was developed for the on-research drug analysis then coupling with each one 2,5-dimethylphenol (2,5-DMP) and 4-tertbutylphenol (4-TBP) respectively in the alkaline media. The developed diazonium coupling methods include an optimization study. The results show a limit of detection and limit of quantification 0.482, 0.284 Âµg/mL, and 1.607, 0.945 Âµg/mL using 2,5-DMP and 4-TBP reagents respectively. This research presents a new study in reactive distillation by using consecutive reaction: the saponification reaction of diethyl adipate (DA) with sodium hydroxide solution .

The effect of three parameters were studied through a design of experiments applying 2³ factorial design . These parameters were : the mole ratio of DA to NaOH solution (0.1 and 1) , NaOH solution concentration (3 N and 8 N) , and batch time (1.5 hr. and 3.5 hr.) . At thermal energies near stellar conditions, nuclear reactions are sensitive to resonance strengths of the nuclear reaction cross-section. In this paper, the resonance strengths of nuclear reaction were evaluated numerically by means of nuclear reaction rate calculations using a written Matlab code, at the energies of interest in stellar nuclear reactions. Association of Oxidative Stress Markers with Cholelithiasis

Oxidative stress markers are of important diagnostic parameters for many disorders including cholelithiasis. This present study has aimed to assess the state of oxidative stress in symptomatic radiographically confirmed (Cholelithiasis) patients by measuring two parameters used as oxidative stress parameters which are serum myeloperoxidase (MPO) and superoxide dismutase (SOD). This study was carried out on 100 patient diagnosed as (Cholelithiasis) patients with 30 age and sex matched healthy controls by measuring serum (MPO) and (SOD) by ELIZA technique .Results showed significantly decrease in antioxidant enzyme(SOD) and increase in serum level of (MPO) comparing with controls.
