SYNTHESIS NEW LIQUID ELECTRODES FOR DETERMINATION DOMPERIDONE MALEATE BASED ON A MOLECULARLY IMPRINTED POLYMER: SYNTHESIS NEW LIQUID ELECTRODES FOR DETERMINATION DOMPERIDONE MALEATE BASED ON A MOLECULARLY IMPRINTED POLYMER
...Show More Authors

Liquid electrodes of domperidone maleate (DOMP) imprinted polymer were synthesis based on precipitation polymerization mechanism. The molecularly imprinted (MIP) and non-imprinted (NIP) polymers were synthesized using DOMP as a template. By methyl methacrylate (MMA) as monomer, N,Nmethylenebisacrylamide (NMAA) and ethylene glycol dimethacrylate (EGDMA) as cross-linkers and benzoyl peroxide (BP) as an initiator. The molecularly imprinted membranes were synthesis using acetophenone (APH), di-butyl sabacate (DBS), Di octylphthalate (DOPH) and triolyl phosphate (TP)as plasticizers in PVC matrix. The slopes and limit of detection of liquid electrodes obtained from the calibration curves ranged from (-18.88– -29.01) mV/decade and (4.0 × 10-5 – 6.0 × 10-5) M, respectively and the response time was about 60 seconds. The Liquid electrodes were filled with (10-2 M) standard solution of the drug and observed stable response for a pH ranged from 2.0 to 11.0 and with good selectivity for over several species. The fresh electrodes of synthesis were effectively used in the pharmaceutical sample to determine DOMP without any time consuming pretreatment measures.

Difficulties of rendering both “imra’a” امرأة and “zawj” زوج in the Glorious Qur’an into English
...Show More Authors

Women are considered important characters and subjects of discussion in the Glorious Qur‟an. Some are portrayed in a positive light while others are condemned . Most women in the Glorious Qur‟an are represented as either the mothers or wives of certain leaders and prophets. But the lexical items “Imra‟a” شاحِا and “zawj” طٚص occur in the Glorious Qur‟an with different meanings depending on the context where they occur. Translation of the Glorious Qur'an has always been a problematic and difficult issue. Since the Glorious Qur'an is regarded as miraculous and inimitable (i'jaz al-Qur'an), Muslims argue that the Qur'anic text should not be separated from its true form to another different form keeping the A

...Show More Authors

Abstract

Semiconductor-based gas sensors were prepared, that use n-type tin oxide (SnO2) and  tin oxide: zinc oxide composite (SnO2)1-x(ZnO)x at different x ratios using pulse laser deposition at room temperature. The prepared thin films were examined to reach the optimum conditions for gas sensing applications, namely X-ray diffraction, Hall effect measurements, and direct current conductivity. It was found that the optimum crystallinity and maximum electron density, corresponding to the minimum charge carrier mobility, appeared at 10% ZnO ratio. This ratio appeared has the optimum NO2 gas sensitivity for 5% gas concentration at 300 °C working temperat

Abstract

In the present work, thermal diffusivity and heat capacity measurements have been investigated in temperature range between RT and 1473 K for different duplex stainless steel supplied by Outokumpu Stainless AB, Sweden. The purpose of this study is to get a reliable thermophysical data of these alloys and to study the effect of microstructure on the thermal diffusivity and heat capacity value. Results show the ferrite content in the duplex stainless steel increased with temperature at equilibrium state. On the other hand, ferrite content increased with increasing Cr/Ni ratio and there is no significant effect of ferrite content on the thermal diffusivity value at room temperature. Furthermore, the heat capacity of all sam

...Show More Authors

Abstract: Tin oxide thin films were deposited by direct current (DC) reactive sputtering at gas pressures of 0.015 mbar – 0.15 mbar. The crystalline structure and surface morphology of the prepared SnO2 films were introduced by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and atomic force microscopy (AFM). These films showed preferred orientation in the (110) plane. Due to AFM micrographs, the grain size increased non-uniformly as the working gas pressure increased.
