The extraction of Eucalyptus oil from Iraqi Eucalyptus Camadulensis leaves was studded using water distillation methods. The amount of Eucalyptus oil has been determined in a variety of extraction temperature and agitation speed. The effect of water to Eucalyptus leaves (solvent to solid) ratio and particle size of Eucalyptus leaves has been studied in order to evaluate the amount of Eucalyptus oil. The optimum experimental condition for the Eucalyptus oil extraction was established as follows: 100˚C extraction temperature, 200 rpm agitation speed; 0.5 cm leave particle size and 6:1 ml: g amount of water to eucalyptus leaves Ratio.

The antibacterial effect of (Eruca sativa) extract was evaluated by an in vitro study testing the growth of various Gram-Positive and Gram-Negative bacteria . The bactericidal activity of this extract was analyzed by serial dilution in tubes. This study,found that Gram-Negative and Gram-Positive bacteria susceptible to very low eruca concentrations.   The study was designed to invetigate the effect of two plant growth regulators (GA3 and IAA)on growth and leaves volatile oils of sweet basil .      The plants were treated with 200ppm concentration for each of the bove regulators after 2 monthes  of planting ,after 2weeks of the first treatment and after month of the first treatment .     The results showed an increase in plant height 25,35% ,number of large leaves 20,40% and percentage of volatile oils 200,100%respectively after one month of first treatment.
