The aim of this study was to know the inhibition activity of squeezed grape waste extract on Bacillus stearpthermophilus by using three different tempretures degree 40, 60 and 80c, in order to reduce the time exposure of food for preservation. This study include two branchs: First: isolation and identification of Bacillus stearothermophilus from soil, 5 sample were collected from the soil of the college agriculture/Baghdad university. Samples were cultured on nutrient agar, microscopic and culturing tests were conducted and many biochemical tests were done. The isolates were cultivated at 55 c and 65 c for differentiate it from Bacillus coagulans which is can't grow at 65 co. The choosed isolate was identified as B. stearothermophilus which is bacilli, spore forming, g+ve ,motile and with 0.71-3 µm diameter. Second studying the inhibition activity of squeezed grape waste extract against isolated bacteria (in vitro) by using different temp mentioned above at differenttimes(0, 10, 30, 40 and 50) min with 500 ppm conc. Of the extract. The number of cells at 40 c for control were 4 x 102 cfu after 50 min, the number was decreased to 2.88 x 102 cfu with the extract. This decreasion was increased as the time progress for three temp. The best decreasing was 4 x 10 cfu at 60 c with extract and 3 x 102 cfu for control after 50 min. At 80 co it was higher a little bit at 60 c, it was 5 x 101 cfu with grape waste extract and 2.1 x 102 cfu for control.

Experimental Study of the effect of closed cavity wall on buildings cooling loads saving

The experimental study showed the use of closed cavity wall (the thickness of the cavity 5cm) made a percentage reduction in the cooling load caused by heat gain from the wall by (21.5 %) compared with the conventional wall. also the thermal resistance of the closed cavity was an average (0.2 m2.oC/W).

In this research, the influence of the fermentation treatments and baking in Iraqi’s flour type (Ibaa 99, Al-rashed, Tamus, Abu-grabe) and Turkish flour type (Muaamel) on phytic acid was investigated. In whole wheat flour, the phytic acid was (1500, 1290, 1450, 1230, 1440 ( mg/ 100 g flour respectively, and the inorganic phosphorous was (29.18, 25.15, 23.89, 20.85, 22.83) mg/100 g flour respectively. In this research, the mechanical properties of natural rubber blends in different proportions (70:30, 85:15, 100: 0 55:45 and phr) was studied through the use of two types of fillers (carbon black and titanium dioxide Nano) which show through tests conducted on the prepared models that increase fillers content which leads to improve the tensile properties (tensile strength, elastic modulus, elongation, hardness and compressibility). As shown by the results that the presence of polypropylene (PP) in the mix combination works to reduce the degree of intumescent and increase its content in the composition of mixtures which leads to get a great resistance to chemicals (acids, bases and oils).
