Nd:YAG laser pulses of 9 nanosecond pulse duration and operating wavelength at 1.06 μm, were utilized to drill high thermal conductivity and high reflectivity aluminum and copper foils. The results showed a dependence of drilled holes characteristics on laser power density and the number of laser pulses used. Drilled depth of 74 ϻm was obtained in aluminum at 11.036×108 W/cm2 of laser power density. Due to its higher melting point, copper required higher laser power density and/or larger number of laser pulses to melt, and a maximum depth of 25 μm was reached at 13.46×108 W/cm2 using single laser pulse.

The present study examines the main points of differences in the subject of greetings between the English language and the Arabic language. From the review of the related literature on greetings in both languages, it is found that Arabic greeting formulas are more elaborate than the English greetings, because of the differences in the social customs and the Arabic traditions and the Arabic culture. It is also found that Arabic greetings carry a religious meaning basing on the Islamic principle of “the same or more so”, which might lead to untranslatable loopholes when rendered in English.

Background: Pregnancy is considered a major risk factor for development and progression of periodontal disease. In this paper, we presented new types of Mc-function by using 𝜔-open and 𝑁-open sets some of them are weaker than Mc-function and some are stronger, which are 𝜔Mc-function, M𝜔c-function, 𝜔M𝜔c-function, 𝑁Mc-function, M𝑁c-function and 𝑁M𝑁c-function, also we submitted new kinds of continuous functions and compact functions and we illustrated the relationships between these types.
