Microbial activity of Ellagic acid when mixed with some types of candy toward Streptococcus mutans microorganism was studied. The main purpose of carrying out this study is to produce a new type of candy that contains Ellagic acid in addition to xylitol instead of sucrose to prevent dental caries. The results show that the inhibitory action of Ellagic acid was more effective when mixed with this type of candy for the purpose of reducing Streptococcus mutans microorganisms, while sensory evaluation was applied in this study to 20 volunteers to that candy sample evaluated which contain (5 mg/ml) Ellagic acid with 100g xylitol to determine consumers acceptability of this sample of candy. The results were expressed as mean value, slandered deviation of the variables, in this in vitro and in vivo study which data processing and analysis were carried out by using SPSS program, as the limit of significance, when the analysis was accepted at P<0.05.

The present study aimed to investigate the morphological description and histological structure of kidney in adult albino mice (Mus musculus), The anatomical study revealed that the kidney in albino mice is represented by bean-like shape, smooth with red to brown color, It is situated within the anterior half of abdominal cavity under the diaphragm on both sides of vertebral column. The effects of time, initial concentration and pH on the metal ion adsorption capacity were investigated. The regeneration of the hydrogel bead and recovery of the metal ion adsorbed were study. The adsorption isotherm models were applied on experimental data and it is shown that the Langmuir model was the best one for Fe (III) ion removal. The maximum capacity was calculated.
