The purpose of this study was to see how sodium fluoride (Naf) affected liver function and the glycemic index in adult male albino rats. Fourteen (14) adult male Wistar albino rats were randomly and evenly divided into two groups and given the following treatments for thirty (30) days: G1 Group (Control group), were given distilled water and fed a balanced diet, G2 rats were administered water that contained 100 ppm Naf. The animals were fasted for 8-12 hours before being anesthetized and blood samples were taken by heart puncture technique

A field experiment was carried out in the fields of the college of agricultural engineering sciences, university of Baghdad during the fall season of 2021, in order to find out which of the cultivated genotypes of maize are efficient under nitrogen fertilization. The experiment was applied according to a RCBD (split plot design with three replications). Both normally developed insects and insects developed after cessation of eggs growth were
used in this work. Cessation of eggs growth occurred following abnormal conditions, which
lasted for 3.5 months before developing into adults, due to the war led by the U.S. and her
alliances against Iraq. These insects showed low rates of water contents and an active response
to water loss. Therefore their tolerance of desiccation was weak. In addition, they had an active
ability to restore their water loss quickly, after return them to a culture, this indicates that some
changes occurred in their integumentary properties were not permanent and took their turn
within one population only, but may or may not serve this population
