This study was conducted in Diyala province for renal failure patients during the periods August 2015 - April 2016. Hundred renal failure patients were enrolled in the study after diagnosis by the consultant physician at Ibn-Sina Center for Dialysis in Baquba Teaching Hospital according to criteria adopted by the World Health Organization for diagnosis of renal failure disease. The number of males in patient’s sample was 61 (61%) and females was 39 (39%) with an age range of 10 – 88 year (44.7 ± 22.1 year). This study was aimed to investigate the iron overload effect on the levels of ferritin, testosterone, follicle stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinizing hormone (LH) and prolactin (PRL) in male patients with β-thalassemia. Blood levels of sex hormones and ferritin were determined in (50 males) beta-thalassemia patients, aged (16-23) years and in (30) healthy males matched for age. This research deals with processing and Interpretation of Bouguer anomaly gravity field, using two dimensional filtering techniques to separate the residual gravity field from the Bouguer gravity map for a part of Najaf Ashraf province in Iraq. The residual anomaly processed in order to reduce noise and give a more comprehensive vision about subsurface linear structures. Results for descriptive interpretation presented as colored surfaces and contour maps in order to locate directions and extensions of linear features which may interpret as faults.
