The recent study was conducted to measure some heavy metal content in potato and corn chips in Baghdad markets. Samples were analyzed by Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS). Four metals, Cobalt (Co), Cadmium (Cd), Cupper (Cu) and Lead (Pb) were determined. Two types belonging to two manufacturer resources and two trademarks for each resource were tested in this work. Generally, the study recorded that the potato chips were containing metals less than the corn chips. According to Iraqi criteria, all tested types of potato chips were under the allowed levels. The mean of accumulation trend for both types was: Cu>Co>Pb>Cd. The mean of accumulation trend for the corn types of chips was: Baz>Pufack> Fantasia > Snack. T

Micro-jets promote the thermal management of PV solar cells by implementing jet water as active cooling, which is still in the early stages of development. This study aimed to develop an oral drug delivery system for gastro-retentive sustained drug release of baclofen by using a 3D printed capsular device since baclofen has a short half-life of 2.5 to 4 hours and has a narrow absorption window. Firstly sustained-release tablets of baclofen were formulated through the hot-melt extrusion of various thermoplastic polymers and direct compression of the extrudate, then a capsular device was designed and 3D printed to contain two air pockets to enable floating of the device and has four windows for drug release.

Information on the scorpions' fauna of Iraq is limited especially in Thi Qar Province. The scorpion specimens of the present study were collected from the desert area which is located between the provinces of Thi Qar and Al-Muthana (Al-Kata'a region). The Scorpio kruglovi (Birula, 1910) redescribed in this study was found in this area. The diagnostic characters are given and the important features are figured.

The family Ormyridae has been very much neglected by workers and only two species has been recorded so far from Iraq. The present study, based mainly on my collection, deals with five species, of which one is new to science. The new species is described together with notes on locality data, host records, distribution and taxonomical remarks for all the species.
