Background: The vasoconstricting agents: nor-adrenaline and 5- hydroxytryptamine
(5-HT) have a stimulant action on smooth muscle contractility of the rat vas deferens.
Objective: This study aimed to investigate the effect of exposure to continuous
darkness and continuous light on the contractility of the vasa deferntia smooth
muscles from rats to applied nor-adrenaline and 5-HT.
Method: Male albino wistar rats were divided into 3 experimental groups. Group 1:
Control animals, were exposed to the ordinary photoperiod each day. Group 2: Rats
were kept in a dark room. Group 3: In a room under a bright artificial light.
All animals were killed after 4 weeks.
Results: Vasa deferentia preparations from continuous dark group of rats exhibited a
reduced reactivity with a significant lower maximal response to 5-HT than those from
control rats. The maximal response in the control vasa deferentia preparations were
nearly doubled compared with that of the continuous dark preparation where as they
responded to exogenous nor-adrenaline with no significant difference from those of
continuous dark animals. Vasa deferentia of continuous light animals responded with
decreased reactivity and a smaller maximal response to both vasoconstrictors
compared with that of control animals.
Conclusion: It is concluded that changes in the rhythm of the photoperiod have
considerable effects on the reactivity of the vasa deferentia smooth muscle from rats
to applied nor-adrenaline and 5-HT
Objective: A descriptive design, using the methodological approach, is carried throughout the present
study from April 1st 2012 to May 20th 2013 to construct the school physical environment standardized

Methodology: An instrument of (141) item is constructed for the purpose of the study. A purposive
sample of (44) school; (22) public and (22) private ones is selected. Content Validity of the instrument is
determined through the use of panel of (11) expert who are specialists in Community Health Nursing and
Community Medicine. Internal consistency reliability, using the split-half technique, is employed through

Several schottky diodes were fabricated from polyaniline/ Carbon nanotube (single and multiwalled) composites. These composites were synthesized with different concentration and two carbon nanotubes types, Single and Multi-Walled Carbon Nanotubes (SWCNT & MWCNT). Aluminum and silver paste were chosen as schottky and ohmic contact respectively. physical and electrical were used to studied these composite by using Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) and electrical measurements. This paper discusses reliability R of the (2+1) Cascade model of inverse Weibull distribution. Reliability is to be found when strength-stress distributed is inverse Weibull random variables with unknown scale parameter and known shape parameter. Six estimation methods (Maximum likelihood, Moment, Least Square, Weighted Least Square, Regression and Percentile) are used to estimate reliability. There is a comparison between six different estimation methods by the simulation study by MATLAB 2016, using two statistical criteria Mean square error and Mean Absolute Percentage Error, where it is found that best estimator between the six estimators is Maximum likelihood estimation method.
