This study objective is to identify the visual pollution in Karrada district main streets as an example of main streets in Baghdad, the public opinion about each pollutants, solutions to reduce and eliminate the pollution were suggested as well. In order to accomplish this objective different methods were used, 16 pollutants were selected, pictures of each pollutants were taken and a questioner were distributed randomly for 270 people to evaluate the public opinion with statistical methods.    The present study aimed to investigate the morphological description and histological structure of kidney in adult albino mice (Mus musculus), The anatomical study revealed that the kidney in albino mice is represented by bean-like shape, smooth with red to brown color, It is situated within the anterior half of abdominal cavity under the diaphragm on both sides of vertebral column. The kidney is covered by capsule of loose connective tissue with mean thickness of (9.6±0.5) micrometer.   The experimentes were carried out by using a nutrient solution in the green house of Biology Dept , college of Education (Ibn Al- Haitham , University of Baghdad .) during 2001 -2002 growing season in order to determine the effect of sodium ion, by using four concentrations: (zero , 40,80,120. effective  dose  was  (0.05)  mM.  Different  concentration  of acetylcholine and KCI caused tonic contraction in this kind of smooth muscle. High concentration of papaverine caused inst<mt relaxation in acetylcholine or Kcl- excited muscle. The inhibitory effect of the drug resul ted from the reduction of the available  free calcium and caused relaxation.
