Background: Hemorrhoids are one of the most
common surgical conditions .Conventional
haemorrhoidectomy was the traditional operation for
the treatment of hemorrhoids. Other modalities of
treatment had been used as an alternative operations
including CO2 laser haemorrhoidectomy.
Objectives: To determine the outcome of treatment
of hemorrhoids by using CO2 laser
haemorrhoidectomy and its advantages over
conventional surgery
Methods: This is a retrospective comparative
interventional study of 1024 case of third degree
haemorhoids selected out of 1300 case of
hemorrhoids of different degrees, admitted to
ALKINDY, ALYERMOUK teaching hospitals and
ABD ALMAGEED private hospital, from May 1998
to July 2002,they were treated by CO2 laser
haemorrhoidectomy and conventional surgery. They
are divided into 2 groups randomly, 512 cases treated
by CO2 laser (group A), 512 cases treated by
conventional surgery (group B). Both groups were
studied regarding operative time, hospital stay,
healing time, post operative complications and cost
effectiveness.
Results: In GROUP A, the operative time ranged
from 10 to 20 minutes with an average of 13 minutes.
The hospital stay ranged from 4 to 12 hours with a
mean time of 10 hours as all cases were treated as
day cases. Post operative pain was minimal in 50% of
patients and required simple analgesia for treatment
while 50% had no pain. Bleeding occurred in less
than 1% of cases, anal stenosis 3.3%, Infection
recorded in 0.58% of patients. In GROUP B, The
operative time ranged from 15 to 25 minutes with an
average time of (19) minutes, hospital stay ranged
from 24 to 48 hours with a mean time of 28 hours
.Post operative pain recorded in all the patients
(100%) and required narcotic analgesia for treatment,
25 patients (4.8%) had varying degrees of bleeding,
40 patients (7.8%) had infection, 25 patients (4.8%)
had anal stenosis. In group A due to shorter hospital
stay, earlier healing of wounds, earlier return to work
which was within 7 to 10 days, the surgical treatment
proved to be cost effective
Phenytoin selective electrodes were constructed based on penytoin-phosphotungstate (Ph-PT) complex with different plasticizers; di-butyl phosphate (DBP), tri-butyl phosphate (TBP), di-butyl phthalate (DBPH),and o-nitro phenyl octyl ether (NPOE) phthalate. The electrodes based on DBPH, ONPOE plasticizers gave Narnistain slope which are, 56.4 and 55.3mV/decade with detection limit of 1.9x10-5 M , 1.8x10-5 and concentration range 10-1 to 10-4 M and pH range 3.0 – 8.0. The electrodes based on TBP and DBP showed non-Nernistain slopes, 40.2,40.5 mV/decade for both plasticizers. Interfering of some cations was investigated and shows no interfering with electrodes response. Potentiometric methods were used for measuring phenytion in

Therefore, this research came to diagnose the most important variables that determine the efficiency of management using the probability regression models to measure the probability of management efficient of broilers production projects using random sample included (60) broilers projects represented 11.6% of Baghdad province (research community) in 2016. After estimating the relationship between the management efficiency (descriptive dependent variable) and the independent variables affecting it (age, educational level, production index (PI), experience). One aim is to get at textually verifiable statistical evidence that attests to the observed dominance of GM nominalization in academic and scientific texts, rather than to fiction (e.g. Halliday and Martin (1993). Another aim is to explore any significant differentiation in GM’s us by the two short- story writers. The research has been carried out by identifying, describing, and statistically analysi

The control design specifications that must be achieved by the control system are gain crossover frequency, phase margin, and peak magnitude at the resonant frequency, where the latter is a new design specification suggested by this paper. These specifications results in three equations in five unknown variables. Assuming that certain relations exist between two variables and discretizing one of them, a performance index can be evaluated and the optimal controller parameters that minimize this performance index are selected. As a case study, a third order linear time

Abstract
That the reduction of costs for products and services provided by economic units is one of the main concerns at the present time to keep pace with competition in the markets, economic units are always striving to stay competitive in a modern business environment and achieve a competitive advantage, (TDABC) in the General Company for Electrical and Electronic Industries / Air cooler engine plant to reduce the costs facing the economic units under the circumstances of the Iraqi environment, especially the industrial, and the need for development events in traditional methods (TDABC) as a technology for reducing costs by relying on time guidelines. The sense of words or structure is not to be given in either the native tongue or the target language by definition, but is induced by the way the form is used in the situation. Situational Language Teaching (SLT) has recently become the needed method for improving speaking skills. It indicates the application of learning the language in actual and social exchange expressions so as to let learners do as required in classroom and non-classroom circumstances. This pilot study seeks to answer the following questions: Can SLT improve English speaking skills of target learners? How SLT contribute to th

Manual measurement does not give reasonable impartiality of timing because there is a time-frame between the movement of the fencer and the speed of the movement of the human time setter. Therefore, the authors sought to design an electronic vest to evaluate movement abilities in foil fencers. The study design was experimental, with 12 Iranian foil fencers of the national team, who were divided into two equal groups of 6 fencers. Moreover, there were 12 students from Physical Education and Sport Sciences that worked on the scientific f
