Several studies suggested that β-catenin expression plays a critical role in cancer invasion and metastasis. This research sought to examine β-catenin expression in breast cancer and its associations with clinico-pathological features (such as histopathological types, grade, and invasion depth of tumor as well as lymph node involvement) and breast cancer patient survival. This study focused on benthic algae (epipelic and attached algae on concrete lining stream) in Bani-Hassan stream in Holly Karbala, Iraq. The qualitative and quantitative studies of benthic algae were done by collecting 240 samples from five sites in the study area for the period from December 2012 to November 2013. Also, the environmental variables of the stream were examined in term of temporary and spatial. The results showed that the stream was alkaline, hard, oligohaline and a well aerated. The total nitrogen to the total phosphorus (TN: TP) ratio indicates nitrogen limitation. 129 species of benthic algae belonging to 57 genera were identified. Commercial fish catch in the Iraqi marine waters from December 2018 to December 2019 was investigated. The study is based on three stations: the first station is located at the Shatt Al-Arab estuary, the second represents the area between the Shatt Al-Arab Estuary and open marine waters, and the third is associated with the Iraqi territorial marine waters. The total weight of the catch was 1881 kg, represented by 500, 654, and 727 kg in the first, second and third stations respectively.    A simple and smart algorithm was presented to recognize car plates in parking at the College of Science for Women, University of Baghdad, Iraq. The study consists of recording video clips of all cars parked in the selected area. The studied camera heights were1m and 2m, and the video clips were 19 and 30. Images were extracted from the video clip to be used for training data for the cascade method. Haar classification was used to detect license plates after the training step. Viola-jones algorithm was applied to the output of Haar’s data for both camera heights (1m and 2m). The accuracy was calculated for all data with different weather conditions and local time recoding. The accuracy is 100% for all data in this study.
