A case of angiolymphoid hyperplasia with eosinophilia (ALH) is reported in a 42-year-old woman who developed multiple nodules behind the ear. Angiolymphoid hyperplasia with eosinophilia usually occurs on the head and neck of young adults and is more common in women than in men. Characteristic histologic features of ALH present in this case included proliferation of thick-walled blood vessels lined by prominent endothelial cells, infiltration of the interstitium by chronic inflammatory cells (mainly eosinophils), and presence of lymphoid follicles with germinal centers. The patient referred for surgeon for complete excision. in this context , cases previously described in the literature, and the differential diagnosis of ALH are discussed.
Angiolymphoid hyperplasia with eosinophilia (ALH) is a rare benign vascular tumor characterized by solitary or multiple red to brown papules or nodules found mainly on the head and neck of young adults between 20 and 40 years of age,1 with a mean age at onset of 30 to 33 years.2 It has also been described in other tissues, including liver, orbit, spleen, palate, bone, heart, and blood vessels.1,3 It is more common in women than in men1 and is associated with peripheral blood eosinophilia of 6% to 34% in about 20% of patients.2,4 The lesions are often pruritic or painful and may coalesce into confluent plaques that are chronic, with little propensity for spontaneous resolution. Itching is significantly greater when the tumor is larger than 2 cm in diameter.1 A history of trauma is found in some patients (9% in the study by Olsen and Helwig4). The interval between trauma and the onset of the lesion ranges from 7 months to 20 years, with a median interval of 30 months.4 Lesion growth, tumor pulsation, and bleeding are other common presentations.2,4 Most intradermal lesions are small, with diameters of 0.5 to 2 cm; subcutaneous lesions may be much larger, up to 5 to 10 cm in diameter.2,5 The tumor is generally intradermal or subcutaneous, but it may involve deep soft tissues and vessels.1 Peripheral blood eosinophilia, enlargement of regional lymph nodes, and arteriovenous shunts have been reported but are variable features.4 We report a case of ALH that presentedas retroauricular nodules in 42-year-old woman.

The Red Palm Weevil (RPW), Rhynchophorus ferrugineus (Olivier, 1790) is a devastating invasive pest of palm trees, invading the Iraqi date palm tree in 2015 for the first time in Safwan county, Basrah province. The Red Palm weevil has been categorized as a quarantine pest of date palm trees worldwide. In this study, a five years monitoring program has been achieved by scouting the invasive pest RPW population in Safwan county by using visual sampling and Pheromone baited traps.
The results indicated that the number of infested palms, increased from 12 trees in 2015 to 111 in 16 orchards in 2016. The number of the infested palms was minimized to 3 trees in the county in 2019 due to the management protocol of the Ministry of Agriculture

The modified Hummers method was applied to prepare graphene oxide (GO) from the graphite powder. Tin oxide nanoparticles with different loading (10-20 wt.%) supported on reduced graphene oxide were synthesized to evaluate the oxidative desulfurization efficiency. The catalyst was synthesized by the incipient wetness impregnation (IWI) technique. Different analysis methods like FT-IR, XRD, FESEM, AFM, and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) were utilized to characterize graphene oxide and catalysts. The XRD analysis showed that the average crystal size of graphene oxide was 6.05 nm. In addition, the FESEM results showed high metal oxide dispersions on the rGO. A simple, low cost and rapid flow injection turbidimetric method was developed and validated for mebeverine hydrochloride (MBH) determination in pharmaceutical preparations. The developed method is based on forming of a white, turbid ion-pair product as a result of a reaction between the MBH and sodium persulfate in a closed flow injection system where the sodium persulfate is used as precipitation reagent. Phytophagous stink bugs (Hemiptera, Pentatomidae) are economically important insect pests of fruit, vegetable, nut and field crops. This study was carried out during the season of 2013 in orchards within Erbil city, to follow the stink bug Mustha spinulosa (Lefebvre, 1831) seasonal fluctuation on some fruit trees: olive, plum, apricot, pear, apple and almond.
The stink bug reaches its maximum abundance throughout the second week of August (38.2/tree) coinciding with mean temperature and relative humidity of 33.40C and 28.14% respectively, and the highest total mean of the number of the insect was recorded on the olive trees (181.8/tree).
