Background Over the past decade there has been a growing awareness of, and interest in, the trace element concentration differences between normal and diseased tissues. Significant changes in tissue concentrations of Zinc (Zn) and Copper (Cu) have been previously reported in inflammation and cancer of certain human tissues.
Aim:(1)To correlate between Zn and Cu concentrations and the histological picture of normal and certain inflamed human tissues, namely the gall bladder (GB) the vermiform appendix (VA), visceral adipose tissue (VAT) and subcutaneous adipose tissue (SAT). (2) to detect whether there is a difference in the above-mentioned parameters between VAT and SAT. (3) to obtain recordings for trace element levels in human tissues.
Methods: Diseased GB (10), VA (10), VAT (10) near these organs and SAT (10) were removed by surgery. Tissues from these organs were then processed for histopathology and analyzed for trace elements concentration by Atomic Absorption Flame-Emission Spectrophotometer.
Results: Zn concentration was high in VAT (0.410 μg/g ± 0.181), GB (0.478 μg/g ±0.531) and VA (0.419 μg/g ±0.123) when compared to its level in SAT (0.1329 μg/g ± 0.0129) and the difference was significant (<0.007,<0.056 and <0.000 respectively).
Cu concentration was high in VAT (0.640 μg/g ± 0.150) and GB (0.919 μg/g ± 0.564) when compared to SAT (0.3893 μg/g ± 0.0130) and the difference was significant (<0.005 and <0.011 respectively). Cu concentration in the VA was low (0.2055 μg/g ±0.0654) and significantly different from all the other tissues (VA vs VAT <0.000, VA vs GB <0.002 and VA vs SAT <0.000).
The histology findings were typical of chronic inflammatory reactions in the GB and of acute inflammation in the VA.
Conclusions: The increase in tissue concentrations of Zn in VAT, GB & VA is due to inflammation.
The high Cu level in chronically inflamed GB and neighboring VAT is due to the increased need for this element during inflammation.
Our results, together with findings reported by others, allow us to think of using trace elements, namely Zn and Cu, as tools for diagnosis and treatment in appropriate conditions.
The primary issue addressed in this research revolves around identifying the interactive elements provided by the Twitter platform and understanding their utilization by digital newspapers with official accounts. These newspapers broadcast content in line with their policies. This study is classified within descriptive research that employed a survey method and content analysis tool. The methodology relies on the "how was it said?" approach to categorize the analysis. The research yielded the following results:
Twitter utilized numerous interactive elements for disseminating tweets, which include "text, branching links, hashtags, digital images, digital videos, digital audio, and digital polls." However, thes

Multivariate GARCH Models take several forms , the most important DCC dynamic conditional correlation, and CCC constant conditional correlation , The Purpose of this research is the Comparison for both Models.Using three financial time series which is a series of daily Iraqi dinar exchange rate indollar, Global daily Oil price in dollar and Global daily gold price in dollarfor the period from 01/01/2014 till 01/01/2016, Where it has been transferred to the three time series returns to get the Stationarity, some tests were conducted including Ljung-Box , JarqueBera , Multivariate ARCH to Returns Series and Residuals Series for both models In Comparison

The electroencephalogram (EEG) is a promising tool to support the diagnosis and evaluation of abnormalities in the human brain. The EEG sensors record the brain activity directly with excellent time resolution. In this study, EEG sensor with 19 electrodes were used to test the background activities of the brains of five vascular dementia (VaD), 15 stroke-related patients with mild cognitive impairment (MCI), and 15 healthy subjects during a working memory (WM) task. The objective of this study is twofold. First, it aims to enhance the recorded EEG signals using a novel technique that combines automatic independent component analysis (AICA) and wave

The interaction between implant material and surrounding tissues is believed to play a fundamental role in implant success and illustrates different expression of growth factors by different cells that involved in the formation of peri-implant tissue. The aim of this study was to localize expression of TGF B by newly formed bone tissue around surface-conditioned implants with placental collagen at different time intervals: 3 ,7,14,28, and 56 days . The proposed method is based on the formation of charge transfer complexation between mefenamic acid and chloranil as an n-electron donor and a p-acceptor, respectively to form a violet chromogen complex measured at 542 nm. The important parameters affecting the efficiency of DLLME were evaluated and optimized. Under the optimum conditions, the calibration graphs of standard and drug, were ranged 0.03-10 µg mL-1. The limits of detection, quantification and Sandell's sensitivity were calculated. Good recoveries of MAF Std. and drug at 0.05,

That was done within two non- mixed dielectric liquids (Normal-Hexane and Acetone) located between two electrodes in pin - plane configuration. The output results show that, the path of the streamer was affected by the interface between the two liquids; the streamer path crosses this interface under some conditions such as the permittivity of the liquids and the distance between this interface and the tip of the pin. Under other conditions, the streamer path grows along the interface. The results were assisted by the development of the potential and the electric field distributions with the growth of the streamer propa

Background: The Andrews’ six keys of normal occlusion contribute individually and collectively to the total scheme of occlusion and, therefore, are viewed as essential to successful orthodontic treatment. The present research aims to evaluate the presence of the parameters of the Andrews’ Six Keys of normal occlusion in a sample of 100 Iraqi adults with complete permanent dentition and clinically acceptable normal occlusion (Angle’s Class I) in Baghdad city. Their age range 18-25 years (60 males and 40 females). Materials and methods: Each patient was subjected to clinical examination and then study cast models were made, with their occlusal records. The measuring tools that have been used involved: Three-dimensional goniometer to me
