Background: A basic knowledge and understanding
of first aid can be invaluable for individuals to be
able to provide emergency care in the event of an
accident, possibly saving lives and minimizing
injury. Since injury is the fifth leading cause of death
and children at the age of primary school are liable
for accidents and lack of knowledge and good
judgment of their teachers may lead to dangerous
consequences when emergencies occur. Training
teachers how to deal with accidents is of obvious
importance.
Objectives: To estimate the adequacy of primary
school teachers’ knowledge of first aid concerning
external bleeding and fractures and Whether there's a
difference in knowledge in regard to years spent in
teaching or the teaching subject and to decide
whether primary school teachers need training or not.
Methods: This study is a cross-sectional Study was
done over 5 months (from 01/Dec/2010 to 01/May/
2011) in five randomly chosen primary schools in
different regions in Baghdad/ Al-Rusafa,carried out
on 100 primary school teachers without inclusion or
exclusion criteria.
Statistical analysis: Chi-Square was calculated by
MiniTab Program to estimate significance. The
significance level was set at P<0.05.
Results: Of the 100 participants, 4% had good
knowledge, 19% had fair knowledge and 77% had
poor knowledge, 26% were science teachers, 9%
were social studies teachers, 43% were literature
teachers and 22% were sport/art teachers. No
significant difference was found for their knowledge
(p value=0.41).Also participants were classified
according to the years they spent in teaching. No
significance was found for their knowledge (p
value=0.82).
Conclusions: Primary school teachers' knowledge of
first aid concerning external bleeding and fractures is
poor and certainly inadequate.No difference was
found in regard to how many years spent in teaching
and difference in teaching subjects also has no effect
on their knowledge.
Many writers and scientists hardly differentiate between the two instruments of use
(If) and (if) to convergence in the meaning, as they perform the meaning of the penalty and condition, as the answer relates to his condition, but when linguistic meditation we find a great difference in use in terms of meaning, so this research came to reveal these meanings and was extrapolated applied in Surat al-Maidah By counting the verses in which (if) and (if) the cops were given and looking at their contexts, the connotation of the cops in most places was within the context of probability, which is the origin of its use, given in twenty places of Surat al-Ma'idah, and it had multiple connotations according to the contexts of the verses received

The current research aims to identify the most prominent beliefs about coronavirus of Baghdad University students, as well as to identify the prominent beliefs toward coronavirus of male and female students. Aim of the research is the study of improving the performance of the thermal station south Baghdad and the main reasons for reduced its efficiency. South Baghdad power planet comprises (6) steam turbine units and (18) gas turbine units .The gas turbine units are composed of two groups: the first group is made up of gas units (1,2), each of capacity (123) MW. Sixteen polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) concentrations were measured in aerosol samples collected for the period from April 2012 to February 2013 at thermal south power station of Baghdad. Fourty one aerosol sample were extracted with (1:1) dichloromethane and methanol using soxhlet for seventeen hour. The extraction solution was analyzed applying GC/MS. The PAH concentrations outside thermal south power station were higher than those inside it, and higher in summer season than in winter. Show MoreExamining of 80 feces samples showed that 31 samples of the house and stray cats harbored either single or mixed infection with eight species of parasites and protozoa with a total infection rate 38.75 %.The results on parasite classes are: Toxocara cati (5%), Ancylostoma tubeforme (3.75%), Capillaria felis(3.75%), Isospora sp.(10%), Cryptosporidium parvum(3.75%), Cryptosporidium muris (6.25%), Toxoplasma gondi (3.75%), Giardia sp.(2.5%) infection from feces of cats that showed single, double and triple infections. Knowing the distribution of the mechanical rock properties and the far field stresses for the field of interest is an important task for many applications concerning reservoir geomechanics, including wellbore instability analysis, hydraulic fracturing, sand production, reservoir compaction, and subsidence. A major challenge with determining the rock's mechanical properties is that they cannot be directly measured at the borehole.
