Background: Job satisfaction remains as an important concern for both employer and employee. A high-quality teaching staff is the cornerstone of a successful educational system. One step in developing a high quality faculty understands the factors associated with teaching quality and retention. One of these factors is job satisfaction, which has been studied widely by organizational researchers.Objectives: To evaluate the extent of job satisfaction of teaching staff working at AL-Kindy College of medicine and to identify some work-related factors associated with job satisfaction.Methods: A cross- sectional study was carried out. A convenient sample of 50 teaching staff, who had a teaching job at different scientific departments at AL-Kindy college of Medicine. The data was collected using a questionnaire form which includes information under three main headings: information related to the socio-demographic characteristic; the work motivators and the work environmentsResults: the study shows that 60% of the academic staff were generally satisfied with their job, the general satisfaction were more among those with age more than 50 years, males, singles, those with no children, and those living near their work place with the following percentage 68, 78, 87, 87 and 87, respectively. It also revealed that positive criticism, promotion, training, growth in work, increase income, new responsibilities, were the most motivators to work.Conclusions: Most of the academic staff were generally satisfied with their job. Most of the academic staff were satisfied to the studied work motivator and environment factors.
In the present work , radon concentration was measured indoor buildings in the College of Education for Pure Science/ Ibn Al- Haitham University of Baghdad using detector (CR-39) by counting track of alpha resulting from decay series of uranium on the detectors which have exposure to air inside the rooms for (30) days , have been applied the equation (1) and (2) to calculate concentrations of Radon and the results showed that all samples were within the allowable range globally except two samples F1 and F2 where concentrations were (445.868Bq/m3) and (436.791Bq/m3) respectively , they were higher than allowable range globally which was (200-300) Bq/m3 recorded by (ICRP) [1] .
In this paper, we derive some subordination and superordination results for certain subclasses of p− valent analytic functions that defined by generalized Fox-wright functions using the principle of differential subordination, ----------producing best dominant univalent solutions. We have also derived inclusion relations and solved majorization problem.
Objective(s): The present study aims at assessing the prevalence of smoking among health workers in Baghdad Teaching Hospital and to find out the effectiveness of instructional booklet concerning risk of smoking on health workers′ knowledge in hospital.
Methodology: A pre-experimental design study was conducted from 1st of October 2019 to 17th of March 2020. A non-probability sample consists of (500) participant (343 non-smokers and 157 smokers) from (1500) health workers in Baghdad Teaching Hospital, they included the physicians, nurses, pharmacists, physiotherapists, Laboratory Technicians, Medical Assistants. Coccidiosis, is a common livestock disease include water buffaloes and nothing is known about the most pathogenic species of Eimeria. Since the highest prevalence of oocyst shedding and incidence of disease occurs in buffalo calves less than one year of age. The omnipresent occurrence and negative effects of the infection on health and buffalo growth output are taken into account. Therefore, both farmers and veterinarians should pay greater attention to infections with Eimeria spp. And there is little analysis of data reported in Iraq and the world regarding Eimeria infection in river buffalo spp.
